Same but the only name he feels like really saying lately is "Patrick".

Not the point lol

Brady is talking about how you don't need to be a crazy athlete to be a great qb. There's a way to be great at the position without being a part-time RB

He wasn't going to mention Mahomes because he's talking about guys at his level, you don't get there without time and effort.

Mahomes talked about how he didn't learn to read defenses until later in his 3rd season. He then had to adjust to how teams started to play him year after.

He's taken steps forward reading defenses but I still don't think he's at the level of those guys. Part of it is that Andy makes things pretty easy for him as of late. Lots of quick stuff but Mahomes had to learn to be good playing that way cuz obviously he was bombs away early in his career.

If anything that type of offense protects your defense since they get to stay off the field longer.

So we don't need a super-athlete. All we need is a QB like Tom Brady. I feel relieved now,....lol.

😂
At least now we can stop the narrative that only way to win SBs these days is with an elite QB or that elite QBs can make chicken salad out of chicken 💩

Eagles winning it is the perfect blueprint for what the 49ers need to do. Not easy to do but we have a pretty good opportunity to do just that.

Of course staying as healthy as they did is also pretty important. Both KC and Philly went into the SB arguably two of the healthiest rosters in the league.

You marvel over Lamar. Brady isn't close to the athlete he is. He had to play the game differently than the super athletes

😂

Jokes on you if you want to act like Brady is the athlete a Vick or Jackson is. Or even Allen

He literally says he and Peyton and Brees had to play differently

I dunno what all the "athlete" stuff is about. Also not understanding why you're playing like TB12s come around more than once a century or so.

You guys are destroying narratives that youre creating on the fly. Most here have seen Trent Dilfer and Joe Flacco win SBs.

Eli and on 2 in grand fashion and his HOF bid was rejected this week.

This hasnt been a point of contention. The only contention I've seen is how much of your cap do you allocate to a guy that you dont think is All-World as a QB?

You'd want to use a little more of that money that can build a #1 Defense like the Eagles showcased this year.

Don't bother, the point was clear and it definitely applies to what makes Brock a good QB. Someone is just busy knocking peoples takes vs offering up his own.

Purdy doesn't have to be Brady, Manning or Brees to improve as a QB by doing the cerebral parts of the game well.

There are freak athletes who can do great things with the football or with their legs and there are guys who rely more on knowing where to go with the football, making quick reads, throws and marching down the field at a less "exciting" way.

In the end as long as you score it doesn't matter whether it's an amazing sack avoiding play rolling to the left throwing a bomb across the body for a 50 air yard TD or a 3 yard throw after dinking and dunking down the field.

So we're just going to ignore that that same Eagles gave Jalen Hurts the "highest QB contract" at the time?

If anything the Eagles winning it is a perfect reminder that you can pay a QB who isn't elite and still be able to win SBs.

Hell not only did they pay Jalen, they paid Brown and Devonta Smith.

To bad common sense isn't common.

Yeah, up until now - most qbs on max contracts never have won a Super Bowl. Or very very few had.

As long as the team is rational and Brock is too - they keep greed to a minimum, this should be resolved relatively quickly.
That's the hope. If they don't, it can mess up a lot for the off season. It's important to know how much cap flexibility you're going to have.
