TThis is not a rebuild
The six or seven biggest stars on the team are staying
Refresh maybe but definitely not a rebuild

I hate when the player says "Im not looking to drag this out. Lets get it done quickly and get ready for the season", and then the team starts lowballing and the agent starts getting stubbornly greedy.
pick 262 of the draft. 5 yrs, 262 mil. 53 mil per season, which is the middle ground between 60 mil and 45 mil. Just get it done already.

Lol that is just buisness. Brock means well but he also hasn't been through this process before. Of course, his agent will ask for as much as he can...cause he is an agent. Lol.

It was hard not to make those comparisons because of how well he played. We had a cool off year with much adversity and here come the Brock critiques. I am giving it till after this season before making a solid decision. I think he has done tremendously well so far though...not perfect but lots of football to see yet from him..still young too.

Hopefully this dude signs before the draft. Frankly, their posture should be that he signs before the draft, if not, going with his current salary this season. There is the threat of the tag next offseason as well. Gives him two years to show everyone what he can do. If that's a no go and he threatens to sit out, trade him during the draft.
No matter what, the niners should draft a QB in the lower rounds.
I like him a lot, but not enough to break the bank. Pitt needs a QB... If we trade him, then go full rebuild.

wouldnt surprise me if niners force purdy to play the final year of his rookie contract, if he ends up requesting to be traded, ask for a king's ransom.
win/win for the niners! lfg

Didn't Josh Allen just get $250M guaranteed over 6 years, which is like ~$42M per year. No idea how the money plays out over the years, I assume is escalates. Shouldn't Brock be getting something in between Darnold's new deal like $100.5M w only $55m guaranteed. I know Allens is longer which mitigates the dollars per year.
In the end, Brock should be getting like $34 - $37M? Maybe $40M per year for 3 years if they don't want to go too long... that's guaranteed money. What do I know.

How's that a win for the niners? It took 30years to find Purdy.

30 years? Purdy is not that great, we've had some decent QB's during that period.
