win/win for the niners! lfg

How's that a win for the niners? It took 30years to find Purdy.

30 years? Purdy is not that great, we've had some decent QB's during that period.
decent, but not as good as Purdy
Purdy looked rough last year without talent around him and a defense that struggled. What will he look like next year with even less talent on the roster?

This is the argument when people talk about paying him $50+ million a season.

That's what gets me when I listen to Colin Cowterd and Nick the "Shnoz" Wright, they talk about how Brock was so bad last year without the injured players and how he can't carry a team. Well how many QB's are there that can carry their team without the other star players? To me there is none. That's me other people may think different and that's ok, but just quit acting like Brock is the only QB in the league that cannot carry his team without star players.

LOL

Purdy is easily the best QB this team has drafted in the past 45 years and the best QB since Young.

I've always stayed positive towards players and this team over the years, but I'm not a fan of paying Purdy. I think it will be a huge mistake. We haven't had a franchise QB since Tim Rattay. I need to be damn sure he is a FQB and he's just not imo. I feel like we're still guessing

If the team moves on from Purdy, expect wasting multiple years each on the next Drukenmillers, Alexes and Lances.

Stating that negotiations are going well. I don't really understand the annual numbers quoted around Murray for example. But they are saying that the discussions are amicable, it will just take time. Looks like two months and will likely wrap after the draft.

And it isnt a good one, because there are only like 3 or 4 QBs in the NFL that MIGHT have been able to overcome what Brock was dealing with last year. And even so, he still had at worst what you can call an average season.

Issue is more Brock went from potential star with a loaded roster to avg QB with the losses that didn't include all the stars. Burrow is an example of a guy who couldn't get his team into the playoffs but he drove that team to nearly getting there carrying one of the worst defense in the league, Brock played alongside a top 10 D statically and cost us a few games with his poor decision making.

I agree. But I do think that if this deal is not done by the Draft there maybe a chance he get traded. I hate to say that but it would not shock me.
