No thanks. I've seen that movie.

Before you throw bombs 💣 what if Purdy wants more than 50 Mil a year? Do we then trade him for picks?

He was a great processor for Kyle's type of offense and since we are more than likely not in the hunt this year, wait for him to fail on another team, take him back at a lower rate. We then rebuild his confidence when we are ready for a serious superbowl challenge.

Mac Jones will probably not be that far behind a a stop gap until then.

One problem Purdy balls out on another team and we're screwed.

I like Purdy a lot so this is not a knock on him, just thinking out of the box. I know it's probably crazy but just maybe that would work with the diminished hope of the current roster. To save cap space

Pay him.

Pay the man
Like this Josh guy- Didn't want to kill the cap and not have other players. And he is one or two in the league. Love ya Brock. But really, $45m

How many Super Bowls has he played in?

It doesn't matter. He is a better QB any day of the week. Don't go there. I guess Jimmy G top five as well.

He literally was robbed of 2 appearances by bad calls against the chiefs

Kinda hard when you have to get past the Chiefs every year in the playoffs.

I've said it a thousand times - when you're a mega millionaire, especially making millions more off the field, fighting over every penny is just dumb and hurts the guys on your team.

make your money but no need to be a greedy POS and then wonder why your team can't afford talent around you.

players should be fighting tooth and nail for guarantees/structure and not the overall value. That's what will really benefit them.
This fanbase is funny. Constantly bashing our organization because "they can't win a Super Bowl" meanwhile worshipping players who don't even make it there lmao

LOL dude is easily a top 3 qb, arguably top 2. Reigning nfl mvp. Carry's the team on his back weekly and has rejuvenated upstate New York. While bringing that fan base some life. Dude is a bonafide super star.

his roster has been suspect for a few years, cause it got gutted when him and diggs got super extensions. He's learned his lesson. I love Brock but I'd love to have Josh Allen more.

Maybe I'm just jealous this isn't nearly as egregious but I remember Brady playing at an enormous discount essentially paying for a Super Bowl, seems almost unfair

I forgot that players make the Super Bowl on their own. They're in complete control in regards to them making it to the SB or not.

not a complete roster, not help from coaching, not upper management and salary cap, not any luck from the bounce of a ball.

if you really base everything off of someone going to the Super Bowl than every player on the chiefs for the last 5 years are the best at their position across the league. Lol

the bills also went through something similar a season ago, losing a bunch of vets to free agency

Worshipping in this case meaning giving proper credit. He's one of the best players in the NFL.
