I've said it a thousand times - when you're a mega millionaire, especially making millions more off the field, fighting over every penny is just dumb and hurts the guys on your team.
make your money but no need to be a greedy POS and then wonder why your team can't afford talent around you.
players should be fighting tooth and nail for guarantees/structure and not the overall value. That's what will really benefit them.
Maybe I'm just jealous this isn't nearly as egregious but I remember Brady playing at an enormous discount essentially paying for a Super Bowl, seems almost unfair
Yeah, Brady always mentioned how dumb it was to take the most you can cause you can make millions off the field and if you needed mega millions to take care of your family - then you're a financial fool.
I'm holding out hope Brock gives us a team friendly structure. Lol I think Brock will end up getting $52.5M a year average or so.
what a lot of fans don't realize is that $5-10M a year Josh leaves on the table can help shore up a few positions with solid vets.
