Make him play his rookie contract. If he doesn't come to practice just give McCorkle practice time with the starters. If the starters are healthy McCorkle can do 90% what Brock can do and he can do it for 3.5 millions.
WTH if Sanders is available at #11 draft him and trade Brock that same night for a 2nd rounder or two.
Again: we aren't trying to win a ring this season so I don't give a s**t who starts at QB.
Yeah we kinda got that from the rest of your post.
I've watched plenty of Mac Jones to know I don't want him starting for us. Some of you may not appreciate the leadership and intangibles that QBs bring into games…somewhat ironic cuz Montana was one of the best at those things but Jones isn't it.
And unless we turn the OL up a notch for this season Mac is not going to handle the rush the way Brock does.
Also calling Brock mid tier is a joke imo unless your evaluations are strictly on arm talent and running ability, then again given how you think Mac is just as good maybe that's exactly what you're doing.
Every QB relies on talent around him. This last season was a perfect reminder of that across the board. Brock is no different.
