However the idea that the Bills roster wasn't good simply isn't true. Yes Josh makes them a lot better than had Brock been their QB(or many other QBs for that matter) but just because you don't know much about their roster doesn't mean they're bad.

They just don't have the big name guys…and that can change in time. I mean we can even got to an extreme take mode and say look at Shakir, the one game he missed all year Josh completed 30% of his passes and threw for just 131 yards. Josh had 32 seconds in that game with a tie, threw 3 straight incompletions and managed to give the ball back to Houston with enough time so they could win on a game winning FG.

That's just one game without his top WR and that's the performance we saw from him.

Which brings me back to…EVERY QB needs help. Some are able to do more with less but none of them can do more with nothing.

Yeah, Allen's team just isn't that good around him. They aren't terrible but when you're comparing the bills roster to Chiefs, Ravens, 49ers, Eagles etc - bills easily have the worst overall team (outside of our team this year).

Allen is a stud and Carry's that team weekly. I thought he should have won NFL MVP 2 years ago when Lamar got it. He carried the bills to the playoffs, it wasn't orettt but it was impressive.

Brock on Bills in playoffs with that defense and HC... good luck

Allen on Niners team in playoffs with all the weapons / Shanny / better D... we know the answer but some won't admit it

If he only had one chance legit chance like Brock there is no guarantee he wins. Theres no guarantee he even gets us to sb the way that Lions and Packers game went down

The guy has never won anything. What would he do with Aiyuk Deebo and CMC getting shutdown, Kittle unable to lift the arm, bad OL play, bad coaching, ST gaffes……we know the answer but won't admit. He would lose just like he does every year
Brock Year 3 > Josh Allen year 3. Fight me.
Only thing about Purdy that I'm not sure of yet is if he does get everything(a big contract), will he still have the fight in him to be his best? It is like a new territory for him.

I think he will, and hopefully it is getting the Super Bowl Championship that will drive him to continue to be the best he can be.

I think he will be fine. Money isn't his object - he desires to be the best qb, husband, son etc that he can be. Im sure he will love being rich but id be shocked if he just stopped giving an eff.

He could be complimenting Jimmy by saying he could come in for Mop Up duty after blowing teams out.

Playing with hypotheticals is stupid in whichever way you go. There is no proof in either direction.

I think it's pretty obvious that Josh Allen is a terrific QB and a better one than Brock but all we have to evaluate him is on the Bills.

However one thing some seem to forget is Josh has 4 extra seasons in the NFL to develop and improve. I still recall seeing a long Josh Allen lowlight video after his first two seasons when he was missing guys by a mile.

He took a huge step forward as soon as the Bills added a top WR onto their roster. He wasn't Mr don't need no help out of the gate.

Not year 3 but year 1-2 easily.

Josh had a lot of talent around him in year 3 and responded in a big way. It was his breakout season.

If you listen to the podcast that Brock just did I would think any of your concerns would be eliminated. He's clearly not a guy who gets paid and then stops trying to be his best.

Injuries across the offense.
Defense 3rd worst in the league in allowing points
Special teams that was an absolute nightmare

It may not have been "nothing" but it certainly wasn't a situation many QBs wish for like some have tried to paint it.

it's the simple fact that once trey went down, brock was dressing for games. gotta be active that's step 1 to see the field. went trey went down he was looking at an entire season of being active for gameday.
Hope we learned our lesson and get him extended before mini camp
