I would not give Brock a cent over 45 million, at this time.

Lucky for us it's not up to you.

You went to battle for Jimmy G like Jon Snow vs the Boltons and now want to use him like a diss lol?

Also lucky for us that Brock has shown way more than either of those guys and Brock isn't getting his big contract after 5 games worth of tape with 0 playoff experience.

we do have a checkered track record at QB with the current regime.

what he's saying is you were the conductor on the Jimmy G train a couple years ago…you and I debated it constantly.

now you're using him as why we can't trust Lynch

jimmy didn't play about half his contract. even if you like his play when he's out there, did anyone like 2018? did anyone like 2020? and that's our top name at QB of this regime, next to brock. brock is still let's see how he does. trey was a big F.

Do you think there is any chance Brock holds out at that number?

Would you bet Ben Johnson wouldn't, with a similar system, near his school, and near his wife's farm. With luck, dude might even have some head coaching skills and an offensive line.

Translated further by your personal AI assistant. . Could he go to Chicago. Close to wife's farm. They may build or have a really good OL and maybe Ben might be a really good HC and Brock would be a magical fit.

He's saying he thinks Ben Johnson would be willing to pay over 45 million a year for Purdy.

For some reason that guy thinks Johnson would be aching to make a move for Brock rather than develop the number one overall pick that attracted him to the job in the first place.

If we pay him 50-60 million, he can no longer be the guy that depends on players around him anymore. He has to be the one that makes everyone around him better. I am not sure he can do that. The contasting evidence between 2023 and 2024 seems to be the tell for me.

It doesn't matter if you're sure, because he's either getting paid by us or someone else. Most of the guys making 50+ mil have flaws and required leaps of faith. You can't really be a sure thing by year 4-5 at QB.
