Brock feels miles ahead of those two as well when speaking to pocket play. Russell had a historic defense and running game while he learned the offense. Kyler already knew the offense from college. But neither relied on the pocket the way Brock is.
Brock really is navigating the pocket like a 10 year classic drop back QB who's had to rely on high level processing to excel.
....and then he's got the short area quickness to escape pressure off that and make off schedule plays.
We've found something special.
TBF, he couldn't be in any better position either but you still have to do it.
If I had to come up with a knock on him, I'd say that if he doesn't get his feet set right - he can make errant throws because he doesn't have a strong enough arm to gun it from every angle.
