Lol. Who messed up on the hand off Mason or Purdy? Or both.

Messed up? It was a play action handoff designed to hold the front 7 for a 9 yard gain. Worked just as it was drawn up.

Just like that one time Kittle fell on purpose to trick defense then got open.

Fast forward to this past offseason, and Purdy was among the rookie quarterbacks brought in for a workout following a college career at Iowa State that included a 2018 run-in with current Arizona head coach Kliff Kingsbury. That was Kingsbury's final season with the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

I am completely fine with him mixing it up and keeping the defense from keying in on a tendency of always looking deep.

I wonder if he didn't take them because whatever scheme they raiders were running, threw Purdy off a little? If so, I'm glad he didn't try to force things when uncertain - makes me think he learned from those almost int that were dropped.

im willing to bet that we see a lot of those plays in the playoffs again but this time, we hit them 😏. That's the benefit of him getting these reps before the playoffs.

That's smart football. I love it. A lot of people miss big plays and then try to force it. I'm glad he is playing conservative when the time is right. It's all about balance

depends which play.. there were times he had plenty of time but locked on one option.. stop owing teammates and hit the open guy
