Same. I loved the breakdown on it as well so fans can understand the processing it took just to get there too.

Yup. The brealdown was top notch. So was Purdy's ability to process the defense so quickly and to throw that ball with such accuracy and anticipation.

Those kind of tight window throws, which Purdy seems to hit consistently- is something we haven't had since probably Garcia/Young. I love it.

we are going to see so many more awesome plays by our skill positions because of Brocks passing ability! Very excited! Let's hope he keeps it up and has a good game today

HHuh? No. I'm done with tight window throws. I want Brock to see guys running free and clear and throwing those easy Joe Montana Sky balls for big yards. Jimmy's better at throwing dimes between the hash. Purdy's Got the Right Touch over the top and improvises better. I think we need to change the old Shanny formula a little bit for Purdy who doesn't have a problem hitting sideline routes.

I'm okay with whatever the formula has been to get us 30+ points.

The offense will grow and adapt to Purdys strength the more he plays. I don't think shanahan will alter much until he has committed to him long term, which we don't know if that'll happen.

regardless of how any of us feel about Lance or Purdy, we really don't know who we will go with and unless Purdy takes us to the ring measuring guy - my guess is that Lance and Purdy make each other better by competing in camp.

I was talking on the short term as far as the playoffs coming up. We have been putting up 30+ on top 10 pass defenses since Purdy entered the lineup.

Oh, I was just kinda talking. Hahah yeah, we've averaged 25+ for the year and I think all hit 1 or 2 games with Purdy we have hit 30+. That's really awesome.

If we score 30+ a game, there is absolutely no reason we should lose. It's weird how the defense is absolutely dominant! Or absolutely dominated. Lol

I think the defense will tighten up for the playoffs. Even on their worse days they still force turnovers though. As long as the offense can countinue putting up 30+, I have a very high level of confidence in this team winning the SB.

Yes, sir! I feel like the defense is embarrassed by what happened last week (right fully so) and hopefully want to set the record straight today!

I am concerned about teams like Buffalo and KC, if we make the Super Bowl. I really think that the offense would have to put up a minimum of 34 points.

Mahommes and Allen strengths play right into our defense weaknesses and you know they'll be attacking huf and #38.
philly will be interesting because of hurts ability to run but I think his shoulder is worse than they're letting on. If it wasn't the last game before playoffs with the 1 seed on the line, he wouldn't be playing.

i hope we bust his ass and he sucks.

Our defense intercepted Mahomes and Jimmy returned the favor at the goal line at the end of the first half. Allen has been a turnover machine all season.

Yes. Our defense got torch by the chiefs but they also got torched by the raiders. Difference in those games? The offense was 2 of 5 in the redzone against the chiefs and 4 of 6 in the redzone against the raiders. With one of those redzone opportunities in the raiders game opting for a game winning FG instead of trying for a more risky TD in OT. Chiefs do have a better pass rush but Purdy has been a great neutralizer in that department.

I heard last night that the chiefs have the worst red zone defense in the league, 32nd.

im not scared of them, I'm just worried because they're more than capable. I hope we beat their ass on the biggest stage, revenge.

how cool would it be if we won against the chiefs this year and they play back george kittles mic "I'll be back, back with a f**kin vengeance"

Yet were able to shut down Stidham and sack him like 6 times. I'm going to assume the entire 49er defense went drinking the night before or were really suffering from that Illness going around.

Can't explain it.

This. 2 passing TD's + 2 rushing TD's and a FG a game.

As Trent Williams says, "Complementary Football."

Special teams and defensive TO's can help make this a whole lot easier to accomplish for the offense as well.

Two things worry me about the Chiefs.

Mahomes and Chris Jones.

BUT if we stay healthy and play smart football on all sides of the ball then we can beat anyone.

Even vs the Chiefs who are a juggernaut we had our chances to win the game and screwed our selves with big mistakes in key moments.

But for at least the next few weeks I'm not gonna worry about any of the AFC teams. Just gotta take care of our own stuff and stay healthy then see what's in store in the big dance we're hopefully participating in.

Happens all the time. Look at the Colts beating the Chiefs. Different week, different game plan, different prep.

Maybe if we saw Stidham do what he did against our defense prior to our game we'd show up differently.

I am just wondering why fans are counting the bengals out as a possible SB contender.
