ill say it again, the Purdy run offense looks just like the late 80s Niners.

Yes sir. Cool, calm, efficient. Nothing too flashy, but consistent and relentless.

Could of gotten the ball away on some of those sacks, but overall looked great.

Maybe. We don't know who was open or covered. All-22 on those plays will be interesting.
The way he adapts, adjusts, once he gets confidence LOOK OUT lol
Having a QB that is a passing threat in the redzone is a godsend.

It has been a long time since we had a guy that can just throw the ball on the goal line

It's been so long I honestly forgot what it was like.

I wanted to say something like We haven't been able to score by throwing in the redzone like this since..... and my mind drew a blank.....

Could not be since Steve Young....

Maybe Garcia?

Since Garcia?

Probably since Garcia.

It is crazy....

If we win in the playoffs, and if we make it back to the Super Bowl, and if we face the chiefs again... I would think we have an easier time in the redzone this time around.
13 TD's, 3 INT's and 1,300 yards passing since taking over after Garoppolo got hurt. Over a full length season that is on target for 3,700 yards passing, 36 TD's and 9 INT's.
It's unfair to get a QB this good this late. To the rest of the league. He's so poised. Excellent at his reads and progressions. He throws an accurate ball. Athletic enough to get you something on scrambles and buy time outside the pocket. He's just outstanding. We are so lucky to have him.

Maybe the front office got lucky on the pick, but they get credit no matter what

completely saved the season after Jimmy went down

I'm just happy he's taken care of the ball. That's a big thing that needs to continue.

On 161 attempts. That is a 8.1% TD percentage which is beyond NFL elite.
He's a lucky guy to step into this offense. Most rookies do not.

Now keep it going. All the way.
