Lol..... and you rounded down the TDs and rounded up the INTs
QB A. 3700 yards 36 TDs 9 INTs
Mostly BA,Kittle,CMC and Juan Jennings
QB B. 3969 yards 35 TDs 10 INTs
Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Brent Jones and Rickey Watters
Worst Puzzle ever, we all know that was Steve Young during the Super Bowl run in 94.
We don't know if Purdy can be consistent for an entire season like this
but
We are getting close to Steve Young level play and that is pretty awesome since this team does not have a Jerry Rice.
Lol. We're not getting anywhere close to Steve Young level play,...but the kid looks good.
Sorry? What?
QB A. 68% ...6.3 TD%... 3.5 int%... 8.7 YPA
QB B. 67% ...6.7 TD%... 2.7 int%... 8.0 YPA
Different eras.
and?
That makes them not similar some how?
Steve Young led the NFL in passer rating
Brock Purdy Leads the NFL in passing rating since week 13.
Their efficiency is similar.
Split hairs all you want, the 49ers are getting franchise QB type production out of Brock Purdy.

What are you so upset about? You should be happy.

Cool stats bro.
Hear it again: His play is nowhere near Steve Young's level of play. That's just completely absurd.
Stats dont make arguments. Put on a game or 2 and watch Young actually play during that era,...lol.
It's just 100% inaccurate to say or suggest.

Happy or Sad doesn't matter. Just saying it's not some magical stat because where you're getting the ball and what you're asked to do plays heavily into it.

Why are you downplaying Purdy's performances? Would you rather him throw an int at the goaline after the defense just set him up before halftime?

Just watch the games. He's nowhere close right now.
Maybe in a year or 2? That'd be awesome.
Not going to take a sample size of stats and make crazy arguments tho. That's taking away from the kid,...not adding to hit. Please,....let's be realistic here.
I'm not quite ready to say his level of play is HOF-worthy just yet.

Purdy??
I've been pretty consistent in saying that I love stats, but some here overdo it with them, regardless of the player. Have you not noticed this yet?

Different eras. Defenses are relatively neutered compared to when Young was at QB. The average QB rating is more than 12 points higher than it was in 1994. The average completion percentage is 7% higher.
