Now that Purdy has ended the season with his highest QB rating, is he now trending up? Or is he still trending down? Or perhaps he's playing consistently? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Trending down because he was sacked more this game.

We are using the Sack percentage this week.

Only concerns I have are the eye discipline, secondary in coverage on 3rd downs and longs, drops and QB sneaks. That's about all I can come up with as potential weaknesses right now.

Yeah, I'm worried about our DB's giving up way too many big plays.

I believe they were hungover as hell in Vegas.

todays TD with Green was just an amazing catch followed by poor tackling.

I thought they tightened up the secondary after that.

the second TD was dunk and dunk with aziz taking angles that math can't explain.

Why are you downplaying Purdy's performances? Would you rather him throw an int at the goaline after the defense just set him up before halftime?

Yes....the defense getting the ball back over and over counts for alot in that TD% so it's really no big deal. Not some magical stat or anything.

always downplaying Purdy's success by attributing it to others. it's f**king comical at this point.

I know. In the Trey thread I said Purdy has seized every opportunities. Random49er responded saying Purdy didn't seized every single opportunities in his life (before becoming a Niners), otherwise he would have been drafted higher and wouldn't be Mr. irrelevant

It appears to me Random49er really hate Purdy for possibly taking Trey's job away.

2 TDs per week,...this week 3 after the penalty called a rushing TD back.

So it looks like given the roster, what you can expect from him game to game is very consistent. He meshes very well with the talent on our offense.

He could easily throw for 3 a game but for the commitment to the run (which is a good thing)

His QB rating was up from the prior week for the first time in his career as a starter, so he's trending up (though against a team starting almost all backups that was purely interested in only improving their draft position).

Yeah, a good play by Green as he extended his hands and created space on pretty decent defense.

What's your opinion? I've shared what I think more in 10 minutes than you have all season.

It has been a long time since we had a guy that can just throw the ball on the goal line

This is my favorite thing about Brock. First and goal at the 7 and I'm super confident he can THROW for the td every time if we need it and give him the opportunity.

With Jimmy you knew it was run run likely incomplete fg

i think the kid has loads of talent. this isnt some plug-and-play situation youre trying hard to sell. he continues this play in the playoffs, he becomes the future of the Niners.

Okay, got it. After each game an NFL QB plays, his QB rating that game VS the previous week will determine his career trajectory. Thanks for the amazing insight.

It's unfair to get a QB this good this late. To the rest of the league. He's so poised. Excellent at his reads and progressions. He throws an accurate ball. Athletic enough to get you something on scrambles and buy time outside the pocket. He's just outstanding. We are so lucky to have him.

Maybe the front office got lucky on the pick, but they get credit no matter what

completely saved the season after Jimmy went down

And not just saved the season.

We now actually have a chance to win the Super Bowl.
