Also has a rushing TD and 0.6 YPC.

Even 2017 Jimmy didn't have numbers anywhere close to this.

Super Star.

Drew Brees. With poor mans Russell Wilson mobility.

He throws touchdowns and wins games.

That´s really what is incredible. Not only he´s the last pick of the draft, he´s just a rookie!
If he had played enough games, his QBR would be top 10, his passer rating top 5.
I understand he played 4 years of college. He has more experience. But still he´s just a rookie!^^
But to be fair, Jimmy played with a bad roster and he elevated all the team almost by himself in 2017.
I mean I have nothing against Goodwin, rookie Bourne, rookie Kittle or Carlos Hyde but it´s a little bit less talented I would say than Aiyuk, Deebo, Kittle and CMC.^^

Brock has been dealing with a lot of dropped passes. We are ranked 10th worse in the league in passes on target dropped by receivers since he took over. In comparison, we were ranked 30th in that statistic when Jimmy was playing.

His ball placement hasn't always been the best, making some catches harder than they need to be.

Still…

I wasn't talking about passes that weren't on target.

Well there haven't been any drops of on target passes so which ones are you referring to? You also didn't specify that in your original post. Either way, it's not like our receivers suddenly just got worse at catching the ball when Brock came in. He's at fault for the increased drops, but the offensive numbers show that it doesn't matter that much.

PFF says different. So why don't you show me which drops were off target?

Time to play like you have been for four more games.

Be an asset in the playoffs unlike your predecessor.

Based on eye test I think you can.

Let's get it.

It won't be easy. We can't get down on himmif he doesn't get it done this year. But I think he can too. I just know that for any rookie to win 9 starts in a row, 10 games, is a highly unlikely event. But he has as good or better chance than anyone in history to accomplish this kind of incredible feat. I'm excited to watch.

He was just given a HUGE gift playing Seattle in the 1st round and possibly the Vikings in the 2nd round. Many QBs would win these two games against those team with our roster.

I expect the NFC title game at minimum where he will need to be at his best to get us to the Super Bowl over Philly.
I'm kind of glad we got the #2 seed as opposed to the one because now he potentially gets two games of playoff football before what will likely be the biggest test of his pro career, the NFC Championship. The playoffs are different and the more he plays in them and gains experience, the more confident he should get.
By definition, if a ball hits a receiver in the stomach, chest or palm of the hands, its on target.
So, I love the Brock story but found it interesting when I compared his stats to Jimmy's for this season. For as much of a "gunslinger" that Purdy has been, Jimmy was actually more of one. Actually, IMO Jimmy's stats blows Brock's away in a couple categories which I wouldn't have guessed before I looked.
Nice to get some Playoff Experience your Rookie year.

Yes, I did.

"Passes on target dropped" which is specifically defined by PFF.
