SEA isn't a high frequency blitz team so I think they are going to disguise it up and try to confuse Brock.

The reality is it's still NFL football, comp gets a lil tougher. If he has a bad game I feel it will be just the random odds of such a game, not 'playoff jitters' as he's been fearless all season. Looking at the ol schedule his first three games of action were all against playoff teams tho the lesser seeded teams.

at the beginning of every playoff game JG was a stressed out mess.

remember his first couple of throws were a mile over the receiver.

wondering how Purdy handles that?

I'm not sure about your implication that JG had nerves. I remember he started the Super Bowl like 19 of 21 passing. We don't need to clown on one guy to prop another. I don't think you get the wins and starts in this league, or paycheck, if you are a stressed out mess in big moments. There are 14 teams in postseason, 13 will come to a crashing end of the season soon takes skill and some luck to be last team standing. If we happen to crash out I hope we don't hear the narrative that our guys are afraid or fatally flawed in some way.. odds are against us it's just the difficulty of winning a Super Bowl. We have a great team I would like them to be remembered as champs only way to do it is you gotta win.

It depends on how the team lost. Nobody should be blaming Joss Allen for not winning against the Chiefs last season. The way the Bengals lost to the Rams, I supposed that one was harder. Burrow had a chance in the last drive but couldn't get it done. He is a young player, but I am sure if Purdy is on the similar situation, some in this forum will be very harshed on Purdy, especially the one who wants Trey to play next season.

Steve Young used to throw up at the beginning of big games.

I wasn't trashing JG in any way (everyone can throw a few off passes when nervous.) - you could watch him nervous as hell before big games - like you could see it on his face.

Simply asking how people think Purdy will handle it.

He will handle it fine. He's confident and experienced with many starts in College. He's way ahead of his years in game experience IMO. Plus he just believes in himself. You can see that. I hope it doesn't rain too much and he can play well.

The calm, cool, collected guy I see every game is amazing. I think he will do the same. Something about this guy. The game is not too big for him. He also has the right head space. In addition to all the other things that are excellent about him.

I know you're lying because Jimmy can't throw the ball past 13 yards!

My bad I never noticed JG as nervous, and if there is any game to have it; it would be the Super Bowl and JG was trending toward games MVP after 3 qtrs, I don't buy the narrative he was a nervous wreck, he was hitting at a historic rate to start the biggest game of his life.

I don't think Purdy will be at any disadvantage to Geno, who I believe is making his first career postseason start and essentially playing for a next contract so he has literal millions riding on this game. He's probably already earned himself a nice deal but a sensational game or a meltdown could be worth millions either way.
Brock Purdy played in the 2021 Cheez-It Bowl, so you're kidding yourself if you think he's going to be nervous for the playoffs. This is just another game for him.
