I'm not trying to direct this at you personally but I do think it's funny when people argue or complain about block features on a message board. Just scroll by and ignore the s**t you don't appreciate, lol.

THANK YOU!
This isn't the workplace where you can't avoid being in the presence of someone you don't like. It's a forum where you read text on a screen/monitor. Don't like a person's post, don't respond to them.

Wait, you can do that? Nice.

Forum rules keep getting more and more sophisticated.

I have to say right now he is playing like a top-five or at the very least top 10 quarterback. He slides in the pocket, his movement is terrific, he goes through his reeds like a top qb and he delivers the ball in stride. Unlike Jimmy Garoppolo who would often throw a little behind the receiver or they would have to jump and almost stop for it plenty of times. So impressed with this rookie playing like a top quarterback

Purdy taking 17 yard sack? Who cares. It happens. With purdy you dont get the sense stuff like that is a drive killer. Just delaying the inevitable.

Still was better than a turnover.

YYou mean like all the turnovers Jimmy didn't make the last five games he started?

He's very accurate and with pressure in the face he doesn't flinch. I notice as well last game and in preseason if he misses something he gets really ticked at himself. In the last game some early throws were right read but a touch off including one BA had to lay out for incomplete. Brock kinda visibly upset with himself a bit. Looks to be a perfectionist.

Yep. His ball placement overall is on another level. That accuracy is part of what separates the elite QBs from the rest.

Jimmy was playing some of his best ball prior to his injury. Yet, Purdy has taken the offense to another level. It says more about how well Purdy is playing than anything else.

Yeah for sure he is a perfectionist and you know his film study is on point. He has to be considered a top 10 qb going forward (probably right around 9th or 10th imo). So impressed with his mobility. My comp for Purdy is Burrow with a weaker arm

The amount of times we've seen him hit wrs in stride under pressure is ridiculous. Also, we are starting to see him throwing from different angles too

at the beginning of every playoff game JG was a stressed out mess.

remember his first couple of throws were a mile over the receiver.

wondering how Purdy handles that?

I know you're lying because Jimmy can't throw the ball past 13 yards!

That's not a fair assessment. Jimmy is good for about 18 yards unless its outside the numbers.

Jimmy throws half the ints purdy does. Yuk yuk yuk.

A bit of an exaggeration but I will play along. Purdy throws twice as many TD passes as Jimmy does. Yuk yuk yuk.

Lots more air yard tds. I appreciate that. And i dont make snide comments about other skills he might be working on. Because Im an adult.

Who can argue?

Lets not forget our new all pro hamster in the back field. He's been helpful.

I know, gotta live with it tho lol.

I got a Purdy shirt outside the game yesterday. It's pretty sick looking.

If more than anything this kid is securing a nice contract and his own families future

Yeah, as a former perfectionist lol.. being one especially, when I was around his age, I would say definitely. What's good about him is that he knows when he's being too hard on himself to where it can be detrimental. Great wisdom to have for his age. Kind of a hard balance to do but he seems to be able to do it. Another reason I am impressed. Kinda wish I had half the wisdom this guy seems to have when I was in my early 20s haha

Wen you've been here for a number of years and the same posters are allowed to say the same s**t every single day without repercussion, you might feel differently. It wears on you after a while, as it detracts from actual conversation. There are several good posters who avoid certain threads or even the Zone entirely because of certain posters.

He looks so smooth throwing the ball. Looks natural. Opposite of Lance. Certainly playing SS in baseball helped with hose arm angles.
