I wondered which former HC said Brock reminds him of Joe Montana.

Yup I noticed this myself. Are they the same? No. Are they on the level? No. Is he him? Not yet. But the ease of motion, eyes always downfield, cool under pressure, relentless accuracy, it's all there.

Thr similarities are definitely there. Feels like '81 all over again for me.

We got Joe part two.

I think more importantly it's Bill/Joe part two. Kyle + Purdy is special.

Yeah, it's Joe and Bill, passed the torch to Brock and Kyle.

Slow your roll guys, let's win a playoff game first

Positive thinking with time before the game. But, we are getting a little ahead of ourselves.

Agree 💯%. When I think the defense has dialed up the perfect coverage to strangle Purdy's passing, he uncorks a 15 yarder or a TD, and the defense is back on it's heels.

Lol I know. A LOT has to happen for this to come to fruition. But my point is the hardest part is finding this type of magical combination, and we did. Now we they just have to make sure they take care of it and surround it with what it needs to thrive.

feelings of the 81 team.. i would say it's closer to the 89 team from a offense/defense positional and scoring standpoint
