Plus he does not come across like a big headed idiot when he talks to the media or in the locker room. He comes across as a likeable, moral and humble young man living the dream. That will sell products for whoever wants to sponsor him.

I think Herbert was doing something like...Biltong shout outs on social media...which i think is desiccated beef by mail. He couldn't have been getting paid that much for the endorsement and he signed for like 8x the rookie money Purdy did.

It's not just "a man in his 20's." These are NFL QB's and the potential face of the franchise. I'd prefer a QB who eats and sleeps football and in his off time is a family oriented nerdy type. Sure you can be successful as a strip club attending young man, but that's not the norm.
