NGS had him making only two throws today to guys that didn't have at least a yard of separation, so it's legitimate to say that his supporting cast is helping him a lot. That said, as we've seen over the last few years, there is a lot to be said for operating the offense, avoiding major mistakes, and finding the open guys.

If we had Purdy in 2019, we probably win the Super Bowl.

I was waiting to see him in the playoffs before I thought if he really was unseating Trey. - I think it's official now. No way you bench him after this? Even if he doesn't play as well going forward. It's clear it's all there.

He still has to read the field and make the right decision and deliver the ball. We have had plenty of QBs who were unable to do what he is doing in this very same offense.
