Holy s**t. I just now saw this.

I left after the fumble recovery because the rain stopped in my town and I took my kids to the park.

At least Aiyuk's signature drop didn't happen in a clutch situation...my goodness....

Haha. Nerves got to ya so you bailed

Best Playoff performance for a 49er QB in a long time.

Probably the best since Kap against GB in 2012. We probably lose today with Jimmy.

Reminded me of this play

Definitely

Maholmes had it easier because the receiver was more open. The coverage on Aiyuk was actually good, but Purdy was able to fit it there.
Said it before and will say it again. Brady passed the torch to this kid after Purdy beat him.

Some bad throws early from him. He seems to be making decent reads for the most part though.

I don't think they were all that bad, I counted 2 the were way off target, the rest were within the margin of error

I say it just FELT like it was a whole lot because Seattle won the time of possession game and we didn't get as many opportunities early. Yeah, he was off on a few, but it wasn't as bad as it felt IMHO.
Brock is that guy pal

Ehhh, it wasn't a game clincher.

HE IS THE ONE

No one else could do this

NGS had him making only two throws today to guys that didn't have at least a yard of separation, so it's legitimate to say that his supporting cast is helping him a lot. That said, as we've seen over the last few years, there is a lot to be said for operating the offense, avoiding major mistakes, and finding the open guys.

If we had Purdy in 2019, we probably win the Super Bowl.

Dude you can't be serious. Do you think that Brock's ability to move in and out of the pocket to buy time gives his WR's more time to get separation? That weak ass argument was understandable with Jimmy but with Purdy?? Please. You need new material.

Go look at the replays though. Yes, he DID make off-schedule plays, and should be commended for those. But the majority of his yardage was not a result of his improvisation, where guys are getting balls off scramble drills. A number of the big chunk plays were off play action to a wide open receiver on an intermediate crosser. He'd either have a clean pocket, or it was a bootleg, where he didn't have a defender in his face.

He did a great job today... But today was a masterful performance by Shanahan's playcalling. This is the most wide open I've seen receivers in this run.

Mahomes also didn't set his feet. Purdy was impressive that he was even able to get his feet set.

This. Not even close to the magnitude but with that said it was a brilliant effort.
