Ehhh, it wasn't a game clincher.
Easily the play of the game, though.

You dont need to throw above 60% to make big plays. Glad alot of posters here are beginning to learn this.
The more you throw deep the more you fail to complete. That is why deep throws are low percentage and short sharp throws are high percentage. The greater the pressure the harder it is to land deep passes. But when you do land a few in a game you can win with a lower completion percentage then playing a short game. In a game like today the low percentage game could be played because the Seahawks were a low risk team. I bet if we get to play KC Shannahan will be playing more conservative on deep passes.
He needs to have a little higher completion percentage. He will. Kid is stone cold
His completion rate is usually in the high sixties. Today it might have been nerves or game strategy that saw it a bit lower. Yuk's butter fingers on Almost the Catch IV did not help.
Catch IV will come soon

LOL FOREAL
No need, they've been carrying him.
Purdy contract:
22': $705k
23': $870k
24': $985k
25': $1.1 mil
25': UFA
That salary is going much much higher after his 3rd season when that 4th year gets torn up.
Not torn up, but an extension and a nice signing bonus

I thought the running game in the 1st half really settled Purdy while still effectively moving the ball on offense until the 2nd half. Glad the weather held up too.

1. Brock has done well this 1st half, considering the circumstances.
2. Not sure if Furlow is watching or not, but even without this game, Moose clearly outlined exactly what you were saying about leaving the pocket when he didnt have to in our last game. Why would Moose point this out if he hasnt been reading this thread?
3. Multiple times this 1st half, it's been outlined and made a note of by Moose how he could have stepped up into the pocket instead of bailing early. Multiple times. Not railing on his play,...no INTs and we have 16 points in 1 half, which is solid.
We will win the 2nd half and I'm sure he'll clean it up. But what more do we need to confirm that it's not just "in college" and not just "1 play" in "1 game"....??
What is the threshold here to confirm what's clearly reality? LoL.
Or just ignore all of the sources that are saying and showing this stuff on film over and over?
lol
need the video on time this week.
need more premature takes this week!

Just hope he doesn't get hurt with some of the risk taking but it's moving to see someone play like this. Takes me back to earlier 9er days & that's just a damn good feeling

I saw some rookie nerves on some passes today, but nothing to change my mind that Purdy is....THE ONE!

Eddie needs to send some 'gifts' to Purdy's parents.

All these talking heads doubting BCB. Wonder what they have to say about pretty hair T. Lawrence with 3 picks in the 1st quarter
