Purdy has shown enough to get my vote QB1 and Lance QB2.
Let Purdy take ownership of this offense and let Lance prepare as a QB2. If he gets the opportunity to show he is better than Brock then so be it.
This Iron sharpens Iron works with the entire team not just QB competition. Just like our defense sharpened Purdy to prepare him for this situation.
I think a lot of people in kC would be piss if Andy Reid made Mahomes compete for a starting QB spot

I would have to agree with that Purdy should be named starting QB next season for what he's done so far based on this season, but I still think Kyle gives Lance one more opportunity to showcase his talent before moving on from him.

Preseason games still don't compare to Regular and Post Season games.

Purdy will more than likely be the starting QB week 1, but there will be a leash on him where if he stumbles for like 3-4 games, then Lance may finally get his chance. And of course there is always the injury possibility as well. I think Purdy has done enough to pretty much guarantee the Season Opening Job.

5 weeks ago Trey was going into the offseason as the #1 QB. Now I think both Brock and Trey go into the offseason competing to be the #1 QB and they let the best player win out.

I stand by it consider he had 4 TDs in a playoff debut and 5th was the best play of the game to BA he dropped it. Well over 300 yards and should be 5 TDs in playoffs that's in the stratosphere of best games. I will die on this hill

Then I will assume you haven't watched a lot of football in your life. Look, I don't care that much it's fine if you think he played one of the best games you have ever seen. I just think it's a massive reach and there have been plenty of better quarterbacked games in NFL history. Tons.

I prefer to see an open QB competition during training camp to see who should be the starter. Nothing should be given even if Purdy helps us win the SB

I don't think you are getting it putting up better 'stats' in week 6 vs the cellar dwellers isn't a better game. This is playoffs. That counts more.

Purdy has a big leg up. Part of the problem with Trey was he was given the job without any competition. Not his fault. Purdy shouldn't automatically be the starter, but I think he will earn it. Plus, hopefully it pushes him to new heights. Purdy ascendence hopefully pushes Trey to greatly improve.
