What does that have to do with anything? Purdy said it slipped - so obviously that was a factor for him. Couple that with his nerves etc. it makes sense

Geno didn't seem to be affected by the weather. He was something like 10/12 in the first half. It's fair to wonder what the two were doing differently that one of them was impacted and the other wasn't noticeably.

Lol who cares if he was or not? Maybe he has bigger hands? But genos play has nothing to do with Purdy. They aren't even on the field at the same time. It's 1000% irrelevant

if you like Geno more than Purdy, then feel free to root for Geno and the seahawks

It has nothing to do with liking Geno more than Purdy. If one QB is claiming that the weather was the cause behind every errant throw while the other QB seems completely unaffected, it's fair to wonder what the two QBs are doing differently in their approach.

Did anyone say EVERY? Brock Purdy himself said a the ball slipped on the first one to deebo?

I don't know. I haven't seen Purdy's direct quote. I'm going off what others in the thread have said about the weather's impact.

when a quarterback and coach are so aligned, it's very scary. They become extensions of themselves.

Exactly this. HOF caliber combination.

Purdy said it affected 1 throw. Not every throw.

aleast he is confident in letting it go, we have had too many QBs here in the past that wouldn't let ot go and take a sack or check down.

If we cant discuss the good and the bad from a game then we might as well lock the thread until next weekend.

Why not simply let those that like to discuss what happened, discuss what happened?

Can we choose plays where something bad actually happened to criticize though? Because picking plays that had a positive result to criticize is what creates needless arguments. Just a thought.

Just in general I say no, because if you're evaluating a PLAYER, you're not evaluating whether or not his teammate bailed him out. You're evaluating the PLAYER.

Some fans cannot wrap their head around such things.

Then I'll correct my statement out of fairness.

its clear that Purdy wasn't sharp in the first and there is absolutely nothing that Geno does, that I think he does better than Purdy. I'll take Purdy six different ways to Sunday over Geno.

Geno isn't bad but he's the definition of a game
manager. And if there is ANYTHING us fans have debated and cried about for years is that we don't want a game manager.

to give Geno credit - he probably played the ball of his career in the first half. He dropped a dime to DK after Ward got burned. He kept the chains moving. He eventually broke down but he did play well.

Those strawman arguments are easier to win.

Maybe someone else did, but I def didn't. He didn't either. He was referencing the first throw to deebo.

the rest weren't really accuracy issues, just him missing the open player with the big play.

it does make me happy that in a big moment, on a huge stage, he was able to pull himself together after that first half.

Yeah, I usually don't like to go that route but that was my thought. Between his legal preceding and all that happened with the nfl - I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't show it for a reason.

Wish my 27th account wasn't banned from Twitter. I'd love to tell that guy what an eejit he is.

Maybe throughout the legal precedings and part of the settlement was that the nfl can't use his NIL? Doubtful but who knows. I haven't seen ANYTHING with kap in quite some time. Come to think of it..
i was going to Knock him taking that sack but he made them use up their timeout
LOL these Vikings catch so many breaks!!
Sorry guys, wrong thread

I'm not saying he must, nor am I saying they held him off on purpose. I just though it was weird to keep him off since he's in the mix with others. Could be nothing. I have no idea.

like I said, I usually don't think that is the type of stuff going on - but it's possible based on his relationship with the league. Lol

jimmy and Kap have had about the same success here, both went to a super bowl and a few NFCC. So, when it says "notable" and Jimmy was there - I figured kap would be up there with him too.
