Go look at Jimmy's playoff stats. If Kap's not one of the "better" is 49er QBs, neither is Jimmy.

Agreed. Jimmy should be removed. He won't be a long remembered 49er QB, just like Kap isn't.

Where he belongs.

If anyone missed it - I looked it up. kap had 5 passing touchdowns in his first 5 games. 4 of them against the patriots. He also had 3 rushing

Kap wasn't on that list for political reasons then. Or else just the dumbass making the chart wasn't a 49ers fan in 2012.
Yeah, I usually don't like to go that route but that was my thought. Between his legal preceding and all that happened with the nfl - I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't show it for a reason.

Wish my 27th account wasn't banned from Twitter. I'd love to tell that guy what an eejit he is.

Why must he be listed?

Apparently you started being a 49er fan in 2019. The reason is because he had more than 5 TDs in his first 5 starts as a 49ers QB.

And? What makes him notable?

READ THE TWEET. It says "TDs in first five starts." Kaepernick had SEVEN passing TDs in his first five starts which CLEARLY AND OBVIOUSLY means he belongs on the list. There is not a desk strong enough to withstand the level of headdeasking this discussion calls for.

Jeff Garcia had 8. It's not a complete list. It's NOTABLE QBS. Sorry race has to be every conversation with you.

WRONG. Garcia had THREE touchdown passes in his first five starts in the NFL.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GarcJe00/gamelog/1999/

You're the one who brought up race, and that's why I'm reporting you. My point is that this guy didn't do his research.

We talking about Fast n Furious races?

It says STARTS. In his first five starts he had SEVEN.

You're right - ESPN has his stats wrong if you look up the game logs for 2012

If that's true, maybe that's why the tweet didn't include Kap?

Didn't include him cause he did nothing to be a notable QB.

What the hell? I knew something was wrong - if you look uk his 2012 game log - it doesn't even have the right games. I could of sworn he played in a bears game for the first time - and it was wrong on ESPN. I thought I was going crazy

I'm thinking our Twitter fellow was using ESPN as a source maybe?
Kaep came in for Smith after Smith was knocked out of the Rams game. Bears was his first start

Didn't include him cause he did nothing to be a notable QB.

He did as much as Garoppolo did, except he wasn't carried in the playoffs.

If we cant discuss the good and the bad from a game then we might as well lock the thread until next weekend.

Why not simply let those that like to discuss what happened, discuss what happened?

Can we choose plays where something bad actually happened to criticize though? Because picking plays that had a positive result to criticize is what creates needless arguments. Just a thought.

Nah. Let's just choose em all. Literally 100% of them are up for discussion,...unless the mods choose otherwise?

Lol okay, dude. 100%. Let's spend time criticizing the wildly successful plays. Sounds like a great forum experience.

Regardless - his game logs are wrong for 2012. It may be why it was wrong, I don't know where they pull their stats from.

Right. The pfr graphic I posted has a * next to games he started, and in the first five of those he threw 2, 1, 0, 0, and 4 touchdowns.

Bwa ha ha! You're hilarious. It could be that Kap had 5 passing TDs...and that wasn't good enough to make the cut. Nothing political or dumbassian about it.

Kap had 7 passing TDs in his first 5 starts, 9 total TDs. More than Jimmy and Montana who were listed.

Agreed. He had 7 in his first 7 starts. I assumed. Thanks for the correction.

Except it wasn't a "list." Purdy was being compared to Jimmy, for obvious reasons. Throwing in Montana and Young for effect. Adding Kaep would not have given that graphic better effect.
