This is a bad throw… the Purdy narrative is out of control https://t.co/AMqKuqzmCe

He seems to be hating a little bit.
100% agree, dude went blind to the rat linebacker like 3 times too. Throwing to wide ass f**king open guys doesn't make you good

He has good poise and his ability to extend plays is a breath of fresh air, but otherwise I think he's regressed since his first start

This is what I worry about with the Purdy narrative, he was mostly bad yesterday but due to his receivers being more open than any other offense ever (?) the narrative will still be that he's good https://t.co/c6fElHjy52

I mean, it IS true that our receivers were super wide open off the play action crossers.
But yeesh... his posts sound like he has such an agenda for Purdy to fail.
So, we have a QB who can hit wide open receivers? This is a bad thing? I know of NFL QB's (see: Dak Prescott) who can and has missed them. This is better?
Detractors are looking through rose colored glasses because they are blinded with hate. Kittle and Aiyuk were not "wide open" on the passes BP hit. He still hit them.
I saw similar fan reaction to Joe Montana's play. The WCO made him look good. Any QB could thrive in that offense. Yadda, Yadda. Hate, Hate.

It's one of the most surprising things about Dirty Purdy - he doesn't go full dips**t like Thompson, Cousins, and Huntley did today. Lol

Well, yea, there are a few grains of truth in what he says: there are a lot of wide-open guys and Purdy did seem to struggle to see the LBs on some plays yesterday. At the end of the day, what matters is that the offense is performing extremely well. We went from 13 points in Jimmy's last start with the same supporting cast to averaging almost 35 points a game with Purdy. That's a pretty big difference, so Purdy must be doing something right.

They'll keep moving the goalposts, those accounts aren't worth your time. "Well ok so he came from behind a couple times now. But can he run a four minute offense throwing with his left hand while eating a hot dog?"
You know what you're seeing. It's been way too many games to be a fluke. All these teams have months (plural) of tape on him. He's still tearing defenses open.

Yeah there were a few things to work on from the last game but overall he wasn't overcome by the moment the way a lot of young QBs tend to be in the playoffs. I'll take Kyle's lead on this one and place my confidence in the kid. I'm excited as hell for next Sunday!!

Giants fan.
Purdy has a lot of success throwing left. He has connected for multiple touchdowns exactly in that quadrant. He has already explained his thinking on plays like that -- don't over think it. Let you guys MAKE PLAYS. Let 6'3" jennings MAKE A PLAY over Diggs. And he did because Diggs shrunk on the hit against the bigger receiver. It worked out. Helped blow out the game.
tHE NaRraTiVe iS oUT of cOnTroL.
Bigger picture: what does this do for your receivers? Playing in an offense that plays to win, and does't play to not lose?
