whoops, wrong thread

I think it's the right thread. Many said this was a bad decision by Purdy and that he should have hit Deebo. But Aiyuk had a TD if he just kept running. No wonder Purdy was so mad after this.

Brock is the new hot thing... folks are gonna try to get attention/hits/$$$ to take advantage of it. All Brock has to do is keep showing up and keep fighting if s**t starts rough, like he has.

I think hes partially correct. If you really look at it, Purdy should've lead him going down the sidelines into the end zone. Instead he puts its towards the inside and Jenning has to make a diving catch instead of catching it in stride into the end zone. Diggs or whomever the safety was there shouldn't even had a chance to make a play on the ball with a better throw. None the less Jennings made adjustment and diving catch.

heres the other angle.

Yeah, and now her you-know-what is like throwing a hot dog down a hall way, atta boy Purdy!
Complaining about a deep ball completion for a lot of yards. Haha! If Aaron Rodgers threw that exact pass it's a dime.

Of course he should have. Doesn't change the fact that it was a really good throw and catch.

we can literally watch any and every team - there are plays where we could show how someone could of done better on the play. It's football - we had an awesome play.

Your quibbling over ball placement. The ball had good catchable arc. The throw concept was right.

Purdy has a lot of success throwing left. He has connected for multiple touchdowns exactly in that quadrant. He has already explained his thinking on plays like that -- don't over think it. Let you guys MAKE PLAYS. Let 6'3" jennings MAKE A PLAY over Diggs. And he did because Diggs shrunk on the hit against the bigger receiver. It worked out. Helped blow out the game.

tHE NaRraTiVe iS oUT of cOnTroL.

Bigger picture: what does this do for your receivers? Playing in an offense that plays to win, and does't play to not lose?

The offense always has played to win. It never held anyone back.

Jennings didn't dive to catch it, he fell forward after getting hit as he caught it. He's not good at keeping his balance after catching deep balls as he's stumbled many times on passes like this. I do agree it could have been placed more towards the sideline, but why risk it when he's THAT open? Regardless, it was in no way a "bad" pass. Lol

I probably missed it, but did anyone point out that this is ̶n̶e̶a̶r̶l̶y̶ the exact same play they ran and hit in Seattle lol.

He seems to be hating a little bit.

It's like he doesn't realize that Purdy's ability to move in the pocket and extend plays out of the pocket gives him more time to throw and more time for his WR's to get open.

The back and forth is why legit, NFL-level experts are needed to truly evaluate these performances instead of fans and average joes.

Consider the narrative on both sides to be nothing more than mid-week entertainment. IOW,...don't take much of it too seriously.

not exactly the same lol, but he hits him how he should've hit Jennings going up the sideline.
