Super Joe had average arm strength as did SY

where and when the ball is thrown is much more important than having a cannon arm
Peyton Manning or Ryan Leaf. Brains, or Arm.

talented player ≠ player with loads of talent

I guess you can be a talented player and still not have talent oozing out of your ears? Both can be true? No?

I miss the Jimmy thread as well,...but you guys will have to recreate drama with something else.

#TeamPurdy

Whatever you need to say to make you feel like you were right all along. I can just imagine in a few years when Purdy is breaking records and winning superb owls. Random will be like, "I never said he wasn't talented, I said it wasn't oozing out of his ears, because, of course, talent isn't a physical object that can ooze."

I'm so tired of hearing these talking heads go on and on about how Purdy doesn't have to do anything but get the ball to the playmakers. Lol I love that all of a sudden - it isn't the most difficult position to play in sports, specifically for a rookie.

Chris simms just called Purdy a lesser version of Mac Jones. Wtf? Purdy is significantly better than he ever was in the pros so far. Mac also can't run to save his life.

huh???? he didnt.

lmao they mention how people are not going to like that.
simms is just mad he was a s**t qb and ride his daddies name. Lol

the whole interview was a giant shanahan advertisement. Ergo, brock is just another cog ijn the brilliant shanny machine. Yawn.

Bill Walsh saw Montana fell to the 3rd round because he didn't have an "elite" arm. That was a stupid pick.

If we're gonna go extremes…Colt McCoy and Matt Barkley dropped because of arm talent all the same.

people took a comment wishing his arm strength was a little better and turned it into people thinking I hate Brock…typical.

How about both? Why can't fans want that lol?

lol. some people are smart enough to understand "measurables" have nothing to do with "talent". lol at this post. this is quite the doozy.

Bill Walsh included measurables in the discussion of talent though, because there are different levels of it. You'll have to talk to him about that.

Bill Walsh drafted Gio Carmazzi. he made mistakes all the time.

lol at a go talk to him comeback.

What does him drafting Gio prove? That he can't properly define what a talented QB is, but you can?

You see how easily we transitioned from "define what loads of talent is in a QB" to "draft busts" like it was nothing?

This is headed nowhere fast,...lol. But I'm used to it.

I don't think you hate Brock. I think you love "arm talent" too much.

LOL. He's much better than Mac Jones. I don't think it's close.
agreed, not even close... BCB will have a much longer and more successful career than McCorkle

Cowherd too. He dropped all the draft round stats we put out on tittle, staubach, unitas when he was talking about mr 7th round. gmafb.

No one is saying arm strength over anything else. All I said was I wish his arm was a little better. Dats it. The usual suspects got all bent out of shape a dramatic over it.
