Mahomes, Burrow came into the league and immediately had their teams competing for a title. Our team is obviously stacked, but Purdy seems to. E doing the same. Dak just doesn't seem to be able to elevate the rest of the players on his team. God I hope they stick with him another 10 years!

Dallas doesn't have a culture of winning or consistency anymore and it starts with ownership. It's bigger than Dak

True story. Jerry is far and away the worst owner in the league. The early success he had went to his head, but sure is great for the rest of the league! Jed made his mistakes with those 2 high school coaches, but looking at the team we have now makes me proud as hell that he's our guy. When you have that winning culture, even the last pick of the draft has a shot at greatness.

We have 11 picks in the upcoming draft.

I'm not sweating getting something back for Trey when Trey has immense value as the backup and far better with elite starter upside than any trash journeyman backup we would sign.

If Brock goes down Trey could just as easily come in and light it up and we don't lose a beat just like this year.

We are keeping Trey.

Of course we're keeping Trey because he's cheap and he's gonna be at LEAST as good as Jalen Hurts was this year

It is ridiculously optimistic to say you know a guy who hasn't prove anything in the NFL to be at least as good as someone who is in the MVP conversation this season.

If what you said is true, we can easily get 3 1st and a 3rd back Probably can even more.

At least as good as Hurts? Trey barely played in college and played what 2 games in the pro's?

Yup, a wild statement. Hope he's right for our sake.

I think the question tankle is asking is if, say, the Panthers trade for Trey, they choose to take his dead money off of our hands so we pay nothing and have zero cap repercussions.

I understand that. That's what I answered. Yes it CAN happen but in doing so you usually get less compensation.

Only time you see it is if you are trying to get rid of someone. Like Mayfield, in his example

It's not them taking on dead money per se. It's them paying portions of the guarantee

What confused me is because you said this only happens if "you are desperately trying to trade a player." In that case, why would the other team—the team you are trading the player to—eat up your dead money?
BCB is gonna pull it out on the Cowgirls and helicopter that s**t like Dobby from Paradise PD when he does a Joe Biden impersonation.
BROCK BUMP..let's go bro!!!!!

How do you know he wants a new start? Did you talk to him? I don't really understand some of these takes. People seemed okay with the fact that he was handed the job over Jimmy this year without having to compete for it because they didn't want him 'looking over his shoulder'.

Now the argument seems to be that the tean should find a way to get rid of him because it would be 'unfair' for him to have to compete with Purdy. So the bottom line seems to be that people wanted Lance to have the job as long as he didn't need to compete for it or earn it. Got it.

Boy oh boy am I glad I checked in here today. Just all kinds of misconceptions being cleared up.🙄

Yeah, we talk every day. Just seems obvious that he has no future here, anymore. Tweeted something to former 49er front office guy, now new Tenn GM, forget his name, to trade for him.

That's pure speculation and all he did was wish him well on the Titans

Probably, speculation - but, if true, you can see where his head is at.

If the Bills had Brock Purdy would they have been 14-3 going into this game? Keep in mind you're giving them a completely different team, offense, and playcaller.

Guys,...must we circulate nonsense like this to lift up our QB??

Purdy's a real QB,...he's not Jimmy. We don't need to say crazy stuff about him to lift him higher.

"There's a big difference: Trey is still an unknown. No one knows what he's going to be. Jimmy was known, but people were just denying what was clear."

Oh, that's right. According to you we're all just "too stupid" to understand how bad a QB Jimmy is while you, on the other hand, not only know what you're opinion is but know what all of our opinions should be as well because, well you know, you're just smarter than all the rest of us.
