I am not slamming Brock. I have made that perfectly clear. I hope is our guy but it is truth that not many teams advance to the next round in the playoffs when said QB has zero touchdowns. And I'm staying on the playoffs here and not regular season. Yes, I remember the run games of past and Jimmy pushed to the outside to hand off the ball but I don't think that is a slam on Brock at all but being realistic. That's not fantasy stats.
It's totally okay to say he has had a really awesome start with still plenty more to be seen.
Tom Brady threw 1 touchdown in the 2001 playoffs. He didn't even have 150 yards in the superbowl.
Oh and that was enough to beat the "greatest show on turf"
Not sure you are beating Mahomes, Burrow or Allen throwing for 145 yards and 1 TD.
With the results of last night, I think you can get this one atleast.
Against the Bills, the Bengals did shut down the #2 offense in their home stadium, and held them to 10 points. So anything is possible with a good gameplan and defensive effort.
I highly doubt we can win a Super Bowl with minimal offensive production, but no turnovers and the defense playing well is a good start. While the Eagles are statistically the best defense of the three remaining teams, I actually think the Cowboys posed the most difficult challenge due to the speed and athleticism of their linebacking corps. Hopefully that's true and we get back to the 30+ point offensive onslaught.
