Oh and that was enough to beat the "greatest show on turf"

This.

Way too many people have a gross misunderstanding of what it takes from a QB perspective to win in the playoffs.

Allen folded yesterday.

i hate the bills offense

i hate how they just rely on allen to throw bombs and hope they complete them. they are so hit or miss.

I am not slamming Brock. I have made that perfectly clear. I hope is our guy but it is truth that not many teams advance to the next round in the playoffs when said QB has zero touchdowns. And I'm staying on the playoffs here and not regular season. Yes, I remember the run games of past and Jimmy pushed to the outside to hand off the ball but I don't think that is a slam on Brock at all but being realistic. That's not fantasy stats.

It's totally okay to say he has had a really awesome start with still plenty more to be seen.

Not sure you are beating Mahomes, Burrow or Allen throwing for 145 yards and 1 TD.

With the results of last night, I think you can get this one atleast.

Against the Bills, the Bengals did shut down the #2 offense in their home stadium, and held them to 10 points. So anything is possible with a good gameplan and defensive effort.

I highly doubt we can win a Super Bowl with minimal offensive production, but no turnovers and the defense playing well is a good start. While the Eagles are statistically the best defense of the three remaining teams, I actually think the Cowboys posed the most difficult challenge due to the speed and athleticism of their linebacking corps. Hopefully that's true and we get back to the 30+ point offensive onslaught.

2019 didn't count because Raheem Mostert had such a great game against Green Bay. Everyone knows that wins don't count unless the QB throws for 300+ yards and 3 TD's in the process

+1

Get this Allen threw 42 times and Singletary ran 6 times in a steady snowfall.

But Allen is tall and throws it really far so he's elite and many posters in here would rather have him than Purdy.

Yea...Brady sucked in that SuperBowl lol

You mean the one where Madden said play for OT and he hit money throws all the way downfield for the game winning drive? Not sure if serious

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic. Hopefully lol.

You're nitpicking and calling home average.

Terrible takes.

No, but I watched the same games as you did and see it in a different way. Again, we won. We advanced. The D was playing lights out as they always do.

Yea it's this "THING" where someone else is a bigger fan than you are if you simply call things as you see them after games.

You have to be extremely positive and refrain from actually discussing what you saw at least until the season is over.

So just a "THING" that pervades here that I really hope we can collectively kill. Would be great to see alot less versus contests over fanhood, and more contests here with X's and O's debates.

LOL. No one mentioned anything about who is a bigger fan than anyone.
Calling Purdy average in the playoffs is a take I disagree with. Why do you easy to kill the ability foe people to disagree with opinions?

People need to be able to take criticism of their takes.

it appears like the bills want allen to be the star, they want him to do everything and win, outshine his teammates. but this is football. you need high percentage throws to move the sticks and a running game.

Well random is NOT as big of a fan of Purdy as the rest of us, he's said as such. Not to mention, he was in this thread yesterday DURING THE GAME just waiting for the Niners to lose and Purdy to play poorly so he could say I told you so.

Not sure if they want it or think that's their best chance. Either way it's ugly as hell and doesn't remotely resemble team football. Cool fantasy football stats though if you're into that sort of thing.
Will Brock do something legendary this Sunday?

Not sure if you guys know, but dinking and dunking helps fantasy stats in PPR leagues lol....

but back to the point, I agree their offense game plan seems to be hit home runs every play instead of a long drive of complimentary football to the end zone.

put Allen on this team and they win multiple SB's. He wouldn't have to be super man either.
