I'd give the edge to Purdy lol
Hurts is better. He was having an MVP year before he got hurt.
And you gotta take into account how dangerous of a runner he is.
Some of these takes need to stop. I love Purdy, but come on...Even saw a poster a couple days ago say that they rather have Purdy than Allen.
Doesn't seem like a bad take. Allen has been a turnover machine and Purdy has been a 3rd down machine. One is in the conference finals while the other will be watching from home.
I've said repeatedly I'd take Purdy over Allen. People are just obsessed with tall QB's who throw the ball far. Sportscenter highlights is as far as they go in their "analysis" of other QB's.
Not a bad take at all.
Well, it is to the anti-Jimmy crowd who hitched their wagon to Trey and Trey only. "The game has changed" crowd. They think NFL QB's need to run 4.4 and throw the ball 70-80 yards. That recipe makes for great highlights, but does not translate to long term success. Purdy will have a better career than Allen and Hurts (hilarious that anyone would put him over Purdy based on body of work when Hurts has had one good season and relies on his legs to set up the pass).
Yes I agree. You are right. A QB needs to be great between the ears. Understand the offensive concepts, read the defense, go through reads and progressions, make the right decision, get the ball out quick, have excellent mechanics, throw an accurate catchable ball.
Like Brock Purdy.
