Here is where he can completely dispel to Kyle the notion he NEEDS a Jalen Hurts type athlete at the QB position to win the Super Bowl by beating this PHI team this week.
We drafted Trey Lance to develop him into being exactly what Jalen Hurts is now but he got hurt this very year when we were attempting to begin that process. Trey when developed should theoretically be able to do all that Hurts is doing
BUT if we win this game then this proves to anyone observing that you can win in todays game still without a QB with superstar athletic tangible traits in the biggest of games when you have a QB with ELITE intangibles and some tangibles if your guy is Brock Purdy
I'm VERY interested in this matchup and I'm looking forward to Brock proving wrong all of his naysayers in this game because it would make the most dramatic of statements and THEN I want to see what all those chirping now will have to say after this game
