What do you rate our draft?

Since I don't see the poll yet and have been wanting get the pulse of the room, what do you rate our 2022 draft?

Personally, I liked it. Not sure about the players as I haven't dug in enough yet, but definitely like the positions and the spots they were picked in. Would've probably drafted a corner/safety instead of the RB (draft RB later) and skipped on the QB.

Overall, I rate the draft a 7/10.

What do you guys think?
Depends one 1) do you include Lance in the calculus, and 2) if so, will Lance end up being a FQB. If it's yes to both, then it's either 9/10 or 10/10. If it's yes/no, then it's max a 4/10 or 5/10. If it's no to the first question, it's a 6-8/10 due to value of picks when we were selecting.
Once must absolutely factor in Tray when grading this draft. Personally, I have faith in Lance and believe he has what it takes to take us to the promise land. Will he, nobody knows, but everything I have seen is pointing in the right direction.

I don't think 2) is really a valid consideration. You can only evaluate the draft at this point. The eventual outcome of the draft needs to be evaluated at a future date.

Agree that Lance (divided by 1/3) needs to be a factor in evaluating this years draft value.
One million kabillion zillion.
Gave it a hard 7. Other than Drake I like our UDFA class just as much or better.

I disagree. Its a soft 7.
7

I like Burford a lot and Gray is intriguing but Drake is meh and Davis-Price seems redundant seeing how we drafted Sermon.
I think this draft deserves a participant medal.
I gave it 8/10. They brought in a bunch of blockers so should see the running game featured with Lance. Defense was pretty loaded, they got some CB depth and pass rush. Their draft looks true to the identity they are building
7, close to 8 though.

Didn't like the RB at #3. Gray was a reach. Should've moved up with all those 6th round picks as well, at least into the 5th. Or package those 6th round picks with a next years 2nd to move back into the 2nd round when we were there and take OL.

Some of the picks look really nice, we got some needs filled, that also seem to be solid fit in our scheme.
Year 1 prediction

Jackson- will play Arden Key role
TDP- will get plenty of rushing attempts. Will be goal line RB
Gray- play deep threat. Probably 10 snaps a game
Burford- potential to be #3 G this year
Womack- depth NB
Fordham G- doesn't dress this year... hopefully
Davis- redshirt year
Castro- Fields- depth CB- ST starter
Purdy- PS year

UDFA- West could be our future Center
- O'Neal key ST player

Overall 7/10... filled depth holes. Added pass rusher. RB depth was important

I agree with this.

My point is that any draft where you secure a FQB is automatically a good draft, and it remains to be seen if Lance will become that. Since I give he will, I think this draft will be a 9/10 or 10/10, but taken at face value now, I voted 7/10. Good value for several picks (except TDP) and they didn't force anything.
We need a consistent method of scoring! There is another thread where the scoring is B or C, plus or minus. I will go with 7, give or take a fraction. When I see Lance this season I might want to improve that somewhat.
