Those two games is where I diifer from him. We have a better defense and running game. At the very least, Trey will play at an equal level as their starting QB's , if not better. I still say 11-6.

Same, I went back and forth on 10-7 and 11-6 and went homer and picked 11-6 but 10-7 wont surprise me.

Trey is the question mark. Will he take a page out of Patrick's book and come on strong or will it be a progression of growth?

The NFC West is no joke. I'd be happy with 10 wins or more during the regular season. So I'll guess that.

Anything less than 10 wins would be unacceptable Imo. Lance would have to play worse than Jimmy for that too happen. This place would explode If so.

Don't see us loosing 6 or 7 games. We'll be 6-2 at the bye, losing only to KC and split with the Lambs. We go 6-3 for the 2nd half of the season, losing to the TB, splitting with the Cardinals, and losing a close one with the Raiders. 12-5. It's very possible we can go 13-4 - it's very possible that we sweep the Cards. I think they are over-rated. And we could squeak past the Raiders. But I don't see 6 losses unless we take a loss to a team we have no business losing to, like the Bears or Panthers.

The cost of Interior OL learning to play together , plus the CBs and Ss learning the same, plus Trey /Center learning to play together willl probably cost 6 Ls. A pair of Ls to Rams (we play them twice by midseason), L to Chiefs, Bucs , probably loss at AZ and one more L we should have won (Chargers) but didn't is the cost of doing business with our DBs, OLs, and QB/C plus QB/WRs, all learning to play together.

However, once we get everybody in sync, it is hard to imagine us getting beaten the remainder of the playoffs. Yes there are a lot of ????, but once we get everybody on same page, we have filled in the holes so the talent is there. Then it is just a matter of getting each group playing as a unit.

If we get to that point, then we make playoffs and win it all. Finally the talent all seems to be there. Holes filled. Excellent coaching. Better STs and ST coaching. TEs and RBs freed up to become targets instead of blockers. Another Edge to compliment Bosa.

I think the early losses plus one later one gets us to playoffs even with 6 Ls. After that tho, i don't see us losing and taking home the Lombardi.

I could be a year early, but with this talent and this coaching…. Once in playoffs, I think we win it all this yr.

11-6. This team is good across the board. Most of our losses will be close ones as TL learns to win in the NFL.

I guess I am a lot more forgiving with QBs that are getting their first start. Lance doesn't have to play better than Jimmy, imo. He has to play at the same level and flash talent. That would be win if for no other reason than it frees up money. I want to see progression. Anything beyond that is gravy.

Now 2nd year is a different story.

Best TE, FB, LT in the game.. top 3 D in NFL getting better with year 2 of Ryans.. Defensive player of the year candidate in Bosa.. best group of 49er receivers since we put Rice and Owens on the field at the same time.. oh and did I mention we upgrade from a sandwich artist to a rocket armed, duel threat #3 overall pick in the draft QB?

How people are expecting us to lose games is beyond me. I expect us to be favored basically every game this year except for maybe at Rams and we already showed we can win there with busted hand Jimmy.
