Will our offense be different with Lance?

Y'all still arguing about this even after Kyle said it's the exact same offense as he's always run?

Yup. I remember precisely, Jimmy running QB power over the last 4 1/2 seasons.

Kyle already said it's going to be the same offense but with Trey stuff added on to it. I never expected Kyle to completely revamp the offense to fit Trey's skillset. We are just going to see added layers to it. When you want to make your house bigger you don't tear the whole house down and start from scratch, You just add on to it.

So it's the same except there's more to it which makes it different.

I mean simply having this will make our offense different because we previously couldn't/didn't do it. So yeah it could have been in the offense/playbook but it was never called.
"It's definitely an element that'll take our offense up a notch." - #49ers Nick Bosa on Trey Lance playing QB and his dual threat skills.

Will be so sweet seeing every blade of grass on the field being used as opposed to a small chunk of it.

I hope it's different. I don't expect big changes because the offense is already good. Trey just gives Kyle the option of throwing all over the field. So many of the big plays in the NFL happen after the QB extends the play and receivers have a chance to get open deep. Jimmy just didn't provide that part of the game.

PS: The zero indication was referencing THIS off season knowing Trey is the new starter.
Okay, THIS off-season… Was the drafting of Danny Gray for him to be a ghost route specialist that won't see any deep targets? Jimmy hardly ever even attempted any, even if for nothing else than to back the defense up. I think Trey will and drafting Gray indicates that for me.
Hey NC 😘

One of the main things Kyle needs ro do IMHO is to attempt at least 5-6 throws over 20 yards to loosen up the defense and get them out of the frickin' box! This will free up both the run game and the underneath routes. Jimmy never had the arm to scare defenses at all. Trey? Much different story.
Getting very excited for the potential.
