He's kind of a meh player. As others have said, he played better as the year went on but I still felt like he was one of the weaker links even with his improvement.
I didn't like having a hole at C and RT though and the contract seems ok.

It's a 4-year deal worth a max value of $20M, source said. He gets $8M guaranteed. https://t.co/R7E9tf9BQk

Haha remember the panic about needing to draft the Arizona State Center Dohnovan West? Some couldn't believe we picked some fella named Purdy instead with the final pick

That fits with what Bradberry received.
I wanted Pocic but not for what he got.

That's a good deal imo. Puts him in the middle when compared to what other Centers make. With more experience Brendl can get better.

Great move resigning Brendel. Now do we move up into the 2nd to get our RT?
Yeah, that would be ideal to get a RT on a rookie deal. Happy we got this deal done and we can always get someone to groom behind him wether it's a draft pick or someone already in house. Great job by our management.

I like this contract. Low risk with high upside. He may keep getting better with experience and chemistry. If he sucks, it doesn't hurt us too bad salary cap wise.
also love it when these kind of guys break a starting lineup and get themselves a nice little payday. Good for him and his family

I figured he would get 4-6 million a year.

Solid deal for a pro-bowl alternate. I still hope they target one in the draft.
