True forgot about him he flopped, non the less it was an attempt but that was years ago

Well, he didn't flop, the injuries got him. And he retired 2021 which is not that long ago. He was on a $47.5m 5 year contract signed 2018 which is capital. Damn shame about the injuries.

Wasn't necessarily saying he flopped in play but the signing. Idk he might have cashed out cause after he got payed he was immediately injured then retired

Dude! He signed a 5 year $47.5m contract in March 2018. He suffered a torn patella tendon in week 14 of 2019. In March 2021 he underwent hip surgery. In June 2021 he retired. So no, it wasn't as you described it.

I'm pretty sure he got injured in that 2019 Saints game in December, was having a solid year before that. Idk what he's talking about lmao

Richburg aside, I agree that there's some dissonance here.

Shanny keeps saying how center is super important. He doesnt let QBs adjust protections, even QBs who get paid a lot, a lot of money. He makes centers do this. So he doesnt believe in developing rookie centers because they need to have experience and knowledge....

But then he doesnt really want to invest into centers. One would think you would want a good center to adjust protection for your soon-to-be 45+ million QB. Instead we get the in-house guy whose wheels fell apart last year and he was just bad.

I really need Kyle to give Brock more of that control. Considering Eagles give that ability to Jalen Hurts and he's got back to back pro bowl Centers while Brock has Brendel.

Next to Jake Moody, Brendel is the easiest choice for someone else who needs to be cut from this Niners roster. Another pathetic performance in both pass protection and run blocking. Could have paid Dalman a reasonable sum to take over this offseason and they passed. Don't know exactly what blackmail information that this guy has on Foerster and Shanny, but it must be good.

Definitely the weak point on the offensive line. Even Bartch is better. I really wish we had a better Center. Sick of him missing assignments and getting thrown around like a rag doll. A big upgrade at Center would really help this line. Bull rush right up the middle is devastating to a passing game and Brock. We can't have it anymore.

What did the coaching staff say about him in the offseason........how good he was in 2024. Blind or stupid.
