One of the bigger storylines of the day: Samuel Womack took all the 1st-team reps in scrimmage today and looked the part.

Had a nice PBU on Jauan Jennings in the redzone for the second straight day.#49wz

Trey Lance continues to look more comfortable when it's a game-situation.
— Rohan Chakravarthi (@RohanChakrav) August 10, 2022
Move-the-ball period to end practice was his best part yet.#49wz
Trey Lance's best throw of the day was a beautifully placed 17-out to Brandon Aiyuk with Ambry Thomas close in coverage.

Lance threw the pass with anticipation and on the money, as Aiyuk got two feet inbounds on a nice play.#49wz

And if Price turns out to be a compliment piece to Mitchell. 4 players from this rookie class could have big roles this season.

The player I was most impressed with today was Kemoko Turay
— Jordan Elliott (@JLeeElliott) August 10, 2022
I charted him with five sacks during 11 on 11's
Two against the first team, two against the second team, and one against the third team
Looked really good during 1 on 1's too
Great practice today for Turay

Don't think he's going to be 4th on the depth chart for long

Back-to-back W's from Mike McGlinchey in pass protection against Nick Bosa

Nick Bosa just tossed Mike McGlinchey to the ground
— Brad (@Graham_SFN) August 10, 2022
I think Bosa saw my earlier tweets about Mike getting him 😂

Not sure who he passes though. Bosa is obviously #1 and Ebukam, Omenihu, and Jackson have all looked good at times this TC.

Womack will be taking that nickel spot from Denard sooner than later.

For not having a 1st round pick that would be massive.
Agreed.

Turay, Ebukam. and Jackson rotating all game opposite Bosa will be huge. Especially in the 4th quarter when all 3 of them are fresh going against tired Olinemen.
If we can actually have Bosa taking a breather and still have a pass rush… this might be a special year boys

My prediction when it comes to number of snaps at DE:
Bosa
Ebukam
Hyder
Turay
Drake
Omenihu
That looks good on paper and if this results in a fresh Bosa in the 4th quarter, hell yeah.
