After Shanahan's day after media call today it looks like this is the butcher's bill after Friday night:
RETURN THIS WEEK: Jackson, Ridgeway, Moseley RETURN FOR HOUSTON: Armstead, J. Moore, D. Johnson, Robinson RETURN FOR OPENER: C. Ward, Mitchell, (Brunskill & McGlinchey???) START ON IR: Verrett, Woerner, Davis
Aside from losing Hurst, all & all it's not horrible. I'll be lighting candles for roster health this week. Huge week.

Oh great, Trey going to tear his acl week 1. Sorry still have PTSD from that Metlife disaster.
If true, then yeah just sit him and all other main guys that don't need snaps.
Uh, we play at Soldier Field in week 1.
Hmmmm if it's that bad there then should we take an L week 1 and not play our starters? Or let it ride.
Obviously I know that's not an option, but come on these are supposed to be the cream of the crop fields. What companies are they hiring to maintain them? I hope our run game is successful and we just pound the rock and get Trey out of there alive.

Seems like we trade a player every year to the team we do joint practices with. So who is going to minn and staying? A DL seems like the most likely...
Injuries happen. What we hope for is a season like 2019, when, yes, injuries happened, but guys came back. We had a first-round bye and most of our starters were playing the playoffs. IMO, we were as close to full-strength as you're going to get in playoffs.
I feel Weston Richburg was the only starter who wasn't available for the NFCCG and Super Bowl, while Kwon Alexander returned (but probably wasn't even 80%, coming off IR).
Which is why it's important that John Lynch and his team assemble a roster with good depth.
