Maybe its just my excitement and a recency bias but I dont remember this many positive stories coming out of the joint practice with the chargers last year. On the contrary, werent their players calling us soft or something? Not trying to turn this into a Jimmy debate, just saying, sounds like the offense is cooking.
SD defense was 100% laughing at JG after joint practices
They usually face Herbert...and JG is a lower tier QB

Vikings defense was ranked 24th in PPGA last season and 30th in YPGA. It is practice and I don't think they are tackling. Don't get me wrong, I love the positive reports and the excitement but you have to put things into perspective.

Does anyone really expect more than this against all-pro level receivers, I'd be worried if it was Ward/Mosley.
