So the big storyline in NFL training camp besides Deshaun is Lamar Jackson's contract situation. I just listened to Steve Young on ESPN just publicly ether Greg Roman's offensive philosophy and it was beautiful! That's what I've been saying. Maybe Jackson will never be a great passer, but until that team actually invest in him becoming a better passer they will always come up short like us with Kap.

And Harbaugh never saw that and continued to employ him. Seems like both Harbaugh's are beyond stubborn

I'm just curious... What's the logic behind it? Feels like things have changed since they shortened the Preseason.
I'm assuming that Preseason Games 1 and 2 are for the guys who are fighting to make the team / need reps, and Game 3 is to get players sharpened for Regular Season Week 1?
3 games in 12 days
Oof. I didn't even notice that. Yeah, preseason is in an interesting dynamic now.
Nah. 3 games in 13 days, which happens regularly during the season. If we only played on Sundays, it would be 3 in 14 days….

I do like Dalvin Cook to possibly have his best season yet. I'm trying to steal him in my fantasy drafts
Vikings D is not good enough
Cincy on the other hand their D got a lot better as did their OL

Agree 💯%, I'm hoping he breaks Aldon's sack record this year.

Next two games are on astro-concrete and with very little rest in between.

Sure looks like it. With picks like Burford, WowMack, and Gray, who needs 3 first round picks!
The hype machine is whats messing up the first round.
I still remember Drake doing a backflip, during the rookie hype machine period -- not just any back flip. A back flip from a handstand.
Drake is another pick that looks like a high first round pick. I'd like to see TDP with the 1's in the next game. I have a feeling he'll push Trey Sermon to bench warmer or practice squad.

Not to mention the 2 first round picks, (already one of which was a late late first) are most likely in the high 20's or low 30's, probably 32nd this year
I'm OK picking 32nd. 49ers have three 3rd round picks next year, my hope is that Jimmy gets us maybe two more 5th round picks to keep the super bowl window open next year.
I really want to see TDP in the pass offense. IF TDP catches the ball well, I can see Kyle letting Trey Sermon go.

I heard that Sermon got hurt today. Ankle/foot. Maybe can talk him into having it be more serious and put him on IR and not have to cut him.

Trey Sermon was seen leaving practice walking gingerly on his ankle https://t.co/8oD6QDTkX5 #NinersNation

I wonder if Aiyuks comments about the joint practices were more like "These corners are too easy... how is this helping me?" You saw the life leave that corner during Aiyuk while with Gray he thought he still had a chance.
Thats how I interpreted the comments. Our D was giving Aiyuk trouble. Probably an iron sharpens iron thing and he feels the Vikings werent really up to par.
I'm not sure because we've only see video of our highlights. Theres a video of a 1v1 rep where Aiyuk gets locked down, I'll try to find it and post it.
Here it is:

we don't really know if hes winning more or losing more.
