In 5 more days we officially get to start talking about week 1. Training camp will officially be over, Yes the final cuts won't be named until 4 or 5 days later but when this Friday comes along they will have a pretty good idea of who they are cutting. Also If I remember, all the cuts don't happen on the same day. I think we are going to see many cuts happen before the final cut down day.

"training camp" was officially over after the joint practices.

Apparently Bosa was wearing a wrap on his left leg. Hopefully nothing serious. He doesn't need to do anything for the remainder of this offseason. He has 3 weeks to rest up.

I heard that Sermon got hurt today. Ankle/foot. Maybe can talk him into having it be more serious and put him on IR and not have to cut him.

?

I didn't see that anywhere…

If we put him on PUP we can keep Hasty

edit: Nice Giedi I thought the same thing. Great minds my friend

Agree 💯% El Jimmy!

How is Dontae Johnson still on this team!?! C'mon, man!

Hopefully, Lenoir, Ambry, and WowMack can change that!

Hopefully they are just protecting him, and has nothing to do with his surgically repaired knee.

I love it! I always said he was the best pulling guard in the whole draft class. That has to be worth a lot although his pass pro isn't up to par. We are used to that unfortunately. Since his arms aren't that long it might be an issue in pass protection but having a guard like him and Aaron Banks will be great that depth either way
I just read that Directv has signed an agreement with Amazon Prime to show Thursday night games in bars and restaurants. This is then last season for Directv and NFL Sunday Ticket. Who knows who ends up with ti next year and how much it will cost.

I'm concerned about the crazy patchwork of broadcast rights that the NFL is creating. It's going to be hard to figure out who is carrying the games in your area and whether it will require that you download and pay for the app. It seems the NFL has a goal of being available on every station and every type of media as long as you pay for it.

I wish they would just allow you to purchase a seasonal subsciption for your favorite team.

It's not just the NFL The Big 10 just signed a tv deal across 5 different networks. Fox, FS1, Big 10 Network, NBC, and CBS will carry games. It's the future. I already got Prime so I'm good on those games. I've been streaming just the niners game for free over the last 10 years. Not hard at all to find a good link to the game every week. Never seen the need for direct tv package. If the Niners are playing the late or early game then that's the only late game I'm focused on. Then I just get by with whatever game is on Fox or CBS, and NBC has the Sunday night game.

Hope Prime gets Ticket because they would probably upload all the games for replay too.

My guess is who ever gets the NFL Sunday ticket is going to charge plenty for it. Why wouldn't they? They're going to pay a bundle for the rights so they aren't just going to let you watch any game you want for $10. It really comes down to whether they allow you to buy on a per game basis or whether they give you access to every game.

I hope it's on a per game basis but even if they charge $10 per game that still adds up. One game per week would be $180. I pay about $200 for the entire season on Directv. Some years I ended up getting it for free by calling and complaining. If Amazon gets the package you know Bezos is going to charge for it. He needs another rocket ship. You aren't getting the games for free on Amazon prime because you have to pay for Prime. I think Prime video is currently $8.99 per month. You can bet that price will go up if they plunk down several million for the rights.

I always enjoyed Sunday Ticket because it allowed me to easily jump from game to game with no restrictions. With all the commercial breaks in NFL games I was usually able to find at least one that wasn't trying to sell me something. That was my one pet peeve about Sunday Ticket. You already pay for the package and still have to watch commercials.

Anyway I guess I don't have to worry about it until next year.
