They're going to pay a bundle for the rights so they aren't just going to let you watch any game you want for $10. It really comes down to whether they allow you to buy on a per game basis or whether they give you access to every game.

I hope it's on a per game basis but even if they charge $10 per game that still adds up. One game per week would be $180. I pay about $200 for the entire season on Directv. Some years I ended up getting it for free by calling and complaining. If Amazon gets the package you know Bezos is going to charge for it. He needs another rocket ship. You aren't getting the games for free on Amazon prime because you have to pay for Prime. I think Prime video is currently $8.99 per month. You can bet that price will go up if they plunk down several million for the rights.

I always enjoyed Sunday Ticket because it allowed me to easily jump from game to game with no restrictions. With all the commercial breaks in NFL games I was usually able to find at least one that wasn't trying to sell me something. That was my one pet peeve about Sunday Ticket. You already pay for the package and still have to watch commercials.

Anyway I guess I don't have to worry about it until next year.

I'm hoping a company like Amazon or whoever brings stability to the price. Like you said, Direct TV changes the price depending on how much you call and complain. Don't call you will get full price. Call and complain you get half off depending on the employee's mood. I've always hated Direct TV's approach to billing.

I'd be down to pay not per game but per team. For instance I'd pay $100 to see all 49er games and nothing else. That would be cool. Tack on a fee for redzone and i'd be happy.

Yea i been saying that for years but the NFL can force ppl to pay for the whole thing at once so they will never give us a la cart.

It will be interesting to see how they offer it. Pay for view.. One team the entire season. Every game like Directv does. Any or all of those options could be on the table. How much they pay will drive a lot of what they charge. Amazon isn't the only ones interested. Disney and at least one other is in the mix.

You definitely won't get all the Niner games for $100. Prim e video alone is $9. An additional $100 would work out to about $6 per game. That sounds cheap by NFL standards.

You're probably right since the Shield is all about money.

It's crazy. NFL athletes are getting paid thru the roof. Teams are making a fortune. Now college athletes are getting paid some decent amounts and college teams are getting huge payouts. Meanwhile the fans get charged more and more.

I don't care how much it costs. I just don't want it tied to a particular carrier that requires me to buy their equipment. It's such an antiquated business model in the age of streaming.

Yes.
Verrett officially will start the season on the PUP list. And Kaila Davis will start on the reserve/Non-Football injury list.

We've been asking ourselves that for the past 10 years now.

How long is the NFI list? Can Davis be a contributor in the second half of the season?

Being able to play 5 positions at a "below average" level is still valuable (see Brunskill, McKivitz, Q. Knight)

I think it's season ending but not 100% sure.

The article says they both can return after the 4th week.
