I don't see them keeping only 4 LB's. It would mean they would have to cut DFF and no way they do that. Unless they can find a trade partner.

I already got Prime so I'm good on those games. I've been streaming just the niners game for free over the last 10 years. Not hard at all to find a good link to the game every week. Never seen the need for direct tv package. If the Niners are playing the late or early game then that's the only late game I'm focused on. Then I just get by with whatever game is on Fox or CBS, and NBC has the Sunday night game.

Hope Prime gets Ticket because they would probably upload all the games for replay too.

My guess is who ever gets the NFL Sunday ticket is going to charge plenty for it. Why wouldn't they? They're going to pay a bundle for the rights so they aren't just going to let you watch any game you want for $10. It really comes down to whether they allow you to buy on a per game basis or whether they give you access to every game.

I hope it's on a per game basis but even if they charge $10 per game that still adds up. One game per week would be $180. I pay about $200 for the entire season on Directv. Some years I ended up getting it for free by calling and complaining. If Amazon gets the package you know Bezos is going to charge for it. He needs another rocket ship. You aren't getting the games for free on Amazon prime because you have to pay for Prime. I think Prime video is currently $8.99 per month. You can bet that price will go up if they plunk down several million for the rights.

I always enjoyed Sunday Ticket because it allowed me to easily jump from game to game with no restrictions. With all the commercial breaks in NFL games I was usually able to find at least one that wasn't trying to sell me something. That was my one pet peeve about Sunday Ticket. You already pay for the package and still have to watch commercials.

Anyway I guess I don't have to worry about it until next year.

It would be cool without ads, but not realistic. You are seeing games out of your area, and they have commercials. What would like to see during commercials breaks? It's weird when you go to a game and players stand around during the break.

In the UK we generally have channels with commercials screening NFL, but occasionally the BBC screens a game and they are not allowed to show commercials (in the UK), so you just get endless studio discussion and recaps of the previous plays.

Even on commercial channels they do studio chats instead of some of the ad breaks, simply because British audiences aren't used to that quantity of commercials.

Yea during bootleg streams it's usually just stadium noise with a random camera pointed wherever the camera is pointed. Sometimes you'll catch a hot mic of the broadcasters talking to each other not realizing they can be heard.

EDIT: so I've been told

Yeah, you get that weird stuff happen on NFL Game Pass sometimes too (which is legal obv.).

So, back in the day, before even internet streaming, the only way I could follow some 49ers games was by very carefully tuning my FM radio to US Forces radio stations broadcasting on AM frequency out of Germany! I was listening in London!
Gray will be Shanny's new toy and Jennings will be in Shanny's doghouse this year. That would fit the annual WR pattern anyway.

Directv has some 4K channels that show various games. Sometimes in the college games they don't show commercials. They just have the camera panning around the stadium and you hear the band and the stadium announcer. It's like being at the game. I'd prefer that to watching the same commercials over and over. It wouldn't be so bad if they only had breaks at the quarter and halftime but football games actually have way more commercial time than they do game action.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a DL, LB, or even a RB traded. We obviously are looking for OL but I'd be shocked if we don't make at trade or two this year like last years prior.
