I at least knew who Purdy was me. Never heard of Holman.

Like that.
This
Trey Lance and Danny Gray missed on deep connection during team period — it's cool to see both stay behind and work on deep ball timing https://t.co/doXHWaMLYf

qb completions to the defense today:
— KP (@KP_Show) July 28, 2022
lance - 1
sudfeld - 1
purdy - 2
DBs had 7 PBUs today. each starter had at least 1. hufanga had the most impressive play. still waiting for charvarius ward to give up a catch. jimmie ward okie-doke'd lance by coming off kittle on his int.
Rough day for Trey Lance, who completed just half of his attempts, including one that was thrown directly to Jimmie Ward. Best throw was last — a nice sideline throw to Aiyuk over the underneath coverage.

Multiple 49ers' DBs made good plays today — especially the first teamers. Charvarius Ward was sticky in coverage, Jimmie Ward had that INT, Talanoa Hufanga pounced on a Lance pass for a nice PBU, Emmanuel Moseley won a great downfield battle with Brandon Aiyuk to dislodge ball

My boy JV gonna come in and take this secondary to new heights
First reaction: Nick Bosa was dominant (especially with Trent Williams still excused).

Sounds like day 2 of a TC and the second TC of Lance's career as the starter vs an elite D. Gonna have good and bad.
Very entertaining 49ers practice. The QBs and DBs got after it. Trey Lance started shaky, then caught fire, then threw an ugly INT to Jimmie Ward. Lance also showed off his speed. A lot of deep throws from all the 49ers QBs, including Brock Purdy who hit a TD to Danny Gray

Gotta get used to how fast Gray is.
