so if he says the o line is horrible.. we do not believe him. ok

No well kinda but it's more that I do not want to contribute to his ad revenue by being traffic to his article.

Would we carry 4 in that case.. plus Juice..

Eli, TDP and Juice are all locks. Would be a surprise if they bailed on Sermon this quickly.

Another way of thinking about it, at least one that I've found helpful, is to consider which other position groups you'd be willing to run shorthanded in order to carry an extra body.

More often that not, the answer is, "Damnit."

That would be good.

Personally, I'll settle for a season that isn't defined by injuries.

Kerry Hyder had 8 sacks in 2020 in our Wide-9 system, add in a healthy Kinlaw and Arik and an up-and-coming rookie Drake Jackson, I'm hoping Bosa breaks Aldon's sack record this year!

No doubt. The D-line Is gonna bring the heat this year. All we need Is for the secondary to do It's job and who knows how far this team can go. Let's be honest, not many expected us to reach the NFCCG last season. Anything Is possible with good coaching and a healthy squad.
Trey should have days he struggles against our D. Every QB should, it's an elite D.

Hopefully our D is the toughest one he faces this year.

It is the best D in the league WHEN HEALTHY, which right now it is. Our D with major injuries made Dallas the Rams and GBs offenses look bad and those are 3 of the top 5 offenses

Yessir. And now it projects even better imo with year 2 Ambry, Hufanga, rookie additions, CWard, DJax, year 2 Ryans, etc.

I concur. We now have 4 legit starting cbs on the outside vs last year when after week 1 (Verrett) we had 1. "I've got reserves" Nadia

I'm surprised that ward didn't drop the int.
It's going to be so annoying to listen to all the overreactions by some and gloating by others everytime Trey has a bad practice or game. As if 90% of the QB's never have an off game or practice. As great as Mahomes is he probally had 5 or so bad games last year and many bad practices. Anyways I am probally going to stay clear of this board everytime the Niners lose a game which hopefully are very few. Trey is going to have his growing pains, It is expected. Kyle even stated as much. It took Josh Allen 3 years to become a great NFL QB. It took Steve Young even longer.

Now the Jimmy fans will say well that's why we should have stuck with Jimmy. No because you can't skip passed Trey's growing pains. The only thing you are doing is delaying his development. He needs game reps. Secondly you can't win a SB with Jimmy. So you would be delaying his development for nothing. This is not Steve young replacing Joe Montana. This is Trey Lance replacing an average starting QB.

I never cared about TC reports when Jimmy was QB and won't about Lance. Aaron Rodgers has had horrible practices in TC. The coach is trying new things, the qb is trying things, guys like Jimmie ward have seen this offense every day for years and played multiple teams running the same system.

Like I said on Twitter, training camp is like who's line is it anyway, the games are made up and the points don't matter.

It's just what fans do. Tomorrow he'll come out and have a good practice and he'll be the the goat.
