No injuries is my biggest concern of TC not how guys look versus dudes in shorts. Once the pads go on Friday then we got a little something. Pre season will have a lot of battles regarding the online

I'm surprised that ward didn't drop the int.
You are thinking of Tartt
Ward has hands (he is a natural FS) but he is usually aasigned coverage because we traditionally play bend but dont break coverage.
Ward (and the other DBs) never have a chance to break on routes and snag a pass.
We rely on DL causing bad passes to generate INTs rather than disguising coverage and jumping routes

Hopefully our D is the toughest one he faces this year.
Too early for Trexcuses?
I never cared about TC reports when Jimmy was QB and won't about Lance. Aaron Rodgers has had horrible practices in TC. The coach is trying new things, the qb is trying things, guys like Jimmie ward have seen this offense every day for years and played multiple teams running the same system.
Like I said on Twitter, training camp is like who's line is it anyway, the games are made up and the points don't matter.
Haha. Real talk. I just wanted to be the first to use the word "trexcuses" in complete irony.

Wish we didn't have to wait until Monday for pads. So glad Niner football is back!

DL Arik Armstead was held out of practice today. Defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans did not comment on Armstead's status.

Just a reminder, Trey Lance played a majority of his snaps today behind an offensive line that combined for 3 total starts last season DL already has an advantage with no pads vs OL and 49ers QBs were dealing with consistent pressure today from a stout front-7

It's going to take a while for that OLine chemistry and synchronicity to develop. The more reps they have the better. Personally, I'd like to see Trey have the initiative and take over the OLine the way Brady did to the Tampa Bay OLine and basically somehow got them to play better for him. If that means extra time outside of regular workhours to perfect their timing and protection calls, I hope Tray does that. Sort of like how Trey and Danny Gray spent some extra time to get the deep ball going.

Deebo needs to hurry up and sign so he can get a jump on getting some chemistry with Trey.

No need for chemistry when you're a running back.

I suspect we'll be doing a lot of running the ball this year.
