Danny Gray's first 1-on-1 rep as a pro comes against Jimmie Ward and 1 jammed him so well that Gray didn't get off the line. welcome to the big leagues, rook.

Trey Lance was 5-10 today with a passing TD, a 40-yard deep completion, a rushing TD and a pick. He dropped back 15 times, was under pressure 12 times, scrambled 4 times, got sacked twice, threw it away once and had one TD pass dropped. He mostly practiced running for his life.

First padded 49ers practice featured two really nice connections between Trey Lance and Brandon Aiyuk: A deep ball over Emmanuel Moseley and a red-zone TD to Brandon Aiyuk, who snagged it away from Charvarius Ward.

Huh? That has nothing to do with try threatening deep. He isn't gonna be a split end YR1 that's all.

Spencer Burford was still there for all first-team reps at RG for the 49ers. The O-line did seem to have its share of struggles in pass protection

Brandon Aiyuk is having a hell of a camp so far. He's had to elevate his game to make some excellent catches, especially against Charvarius Ward. Heavyweight battle between those two

Ward taking it out on some rookies after Brandon Marshall shamed him like 10 years ago.

Trey Lance had the throw of the day: A 40-yard bomb to Brandon Aiyuk over Emmanuel Moseley.

Lance continues to look good. Two strong practices in a row.
He continues to make plays with his feet, evading pressure, and making throws while on the run.#49wz

Trey Lance is looking more and more comfortable each and every day

Had what was by far his best practice today, and it's evident that the positive progression is directly correlated to something as simple as getting more reps under his belt with the 1st team offense

The #49ers defense did not make it easy on Trey Lance in the red zone. He had a difficult time finding guys open. Charvarius Ward had an interception at the goal line on a pass intended for Kyle Juszczyk.
