Very few on schedule plays for the #49ers passing game today. Defense controlled most of the practice with sticky coverage. Plus the pass rush was predictably strong against SF's offensive line that's still figuring things out. Trey Lance had to improvise a lot.

He needs practice throwing the ball on rhythm. First team defense making it tough to get work in.

Wait which is it. Strong pass protection or being pressured every snap? These beat writers need to get on the same page

49ers Talanoa Hufanga was especially impressive in 1v1 drills today

Had one INT and another that went right through his hands — he was essentially running the routes for the TE's he was covering

Good pass protection in 7 on 7 drills I'm guessing

49ers rookie Drake Jackson seems to be moving up the depth chart as he started opposite of Nick Bosa in one of the team periods
— Brad (@Graham_SFN) August 1, 2022
Early impression on him has me pleasantly surprised — he looks the part and is definitely playing well at the beginning of camp

McGlinchey gets Bosa on one rep and then Bosa comes back and gets McGlinchey
Great work from both and an extremely promising sign for Mike in his first padded practice since week 9 of last year
This might be the best story of camp so far. McGlinchey holding his own against Bosa in PP
