All the concern over the IOL is justified. Not only does it take longer for the OL to get used to working together, but there are also some new faces in the mix. Brendel and Burford/Banks are new. McGlinchey is moving well but has to develop the chemistry needed to make it all work. In short, there is work to be done.

The good news is, that Kansas City started off with a completely rebuilt OL last year and by mid-season, it was working well.

Good take. The hope is that the talent is all there. If so, and that chemistry and snaps build up, the OL could start to ascend instead of declining. We'll find out. But it may be ugly at first.

For all those who keep whinning about the team to sign JC Tretter. Have they wondered why Tampa hasn't signed him?
They lost their stud center for the season and are relying on a rookie. They have a QB who, even as the goat, he is 45 years old and can't move.
So why they haven't rushed to sign Tretter as most of the fans here are asking for?
I have seen other fanbases asking for the Tretter signing (Vikings, Dolphins). But it's week 2 of TC and he remains unsigned.
As good as Tretter is, he always plays hurt and, even if it's at a high level, it's hard to develop chemistry as the pivot of the offense when he never practices.

they are not terrible the DL is just great. simple as that.

Not disagreeing with that at all. Just want an experienced center.
